Thanks for the video 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have the Fusion 2 pro HSH bengal burst since a couple of weeks and it is an absolutely wonderful instrumemt. The feel of the neck, the radius, the stainless steel frets. I did some setup operations, as I feel you need to do to get to know yoir instrument and to really get to own it ! I lowered the string height as far as possible, discovered a slight buzz on the 16th fret on the g string, polished all frets and adjusted the compromised one, this was a very small height difference. I am amazed at the total package. Truss rod adjustment (which I haven't needed to adjust) is easily accessible if needed, a technical point that shows someone has thought everything through. The tuners are great and stable, the nut is perfect, the roasted maple neck and fretboard is stunning to look at and has a fantastic feel to hold. The bengal burst finish and the black backside of the guitar is strikingly beautiful. Pickups sound great, I feel no need to replace them at all. A great variety of unique sounds can be achieved. I could go on and on, but don't have enough time right now. Oh, and I forgot, the Wilkinson bridge is the best I have had on any guitar. Great construction with good adjustment hex screws for intonation string height and locking. No sharp edges.

You know I just ordered one in a lefty!!! Thomann will hopefully be sending packages soon once this virus gets under control as they have stopped for now. I just glad that I made the order even if it takes a while, at least it is "reserved" and I feel good about that! Something to look forward to in these crazy times... (hooray another guitar a coming) :-) :-) I will say this much, I have been playing the FUSION 2 HSH stainless steel frets, with a toasted neck and locking tuners, also a lefty and love it!!! It's a fantastic guitar for sure!!!!! I just HAD to get the order done today, when I saw you showing the black FUSION-T version a few days ago, man it looks beautiful!!! I'm sure it will sound great!!! Can't wait to get mine in a lefthander version, I will be totally looking forward to receiving this one!! Let's hope we can survive this crazy ordeal and actually be able to play the darn thing lol. I seriously have to stop getting any more guitars, I now will have 6-guitars!!! This should be my LAST guitar that I will order... Although I do order ALL my equipment and music necessities from Thomann still as they really are great!!! Playing a BLACKSTAR tube amp and the FUSION 2 pro HSH is like a dream!! Thank God that I can at least play and write music, with this "LOCK-IN" here in Spain it's getting pretty scary my friend... Another great feature of the truss rod adjustment wheel - you will never strip it. It can happen with Allen keys. And unless I missed it, you did not mention the push/pull tone knob that gives you single coil sounds. BTW - "compensated saddles" are called staggered height tuners where I come from. Which should really mean you don't need that string tree at all. I would try popping out the strings from under that string tree, and once you retune, if you have no sound issues like buzzing or loss of sustain, leave it that way (or take the string tree off altogether).

Thanks for the review. Also I appreciate your live streams. I’m about to order one of these with the roasted neck. Trying to decide between the hard tail and trem versions. It’s great having someone with expertise to go to with questions.
@addictedtogear4 жыл бұрын
Hi, If you feel that you have little need for the tremolo, then the hardtail would be the better option for you. The hardtail also would give you better sustain in my opinion. B stock is great if you want to save a few dollars but you have to live with it once it gets to you should it be less than perfect... Shipping it back would be pretty expensive.

I bought a Harley Benton TE-52 Vintage and am BLOWN AWAY by how nice it is!! The only nit-picky thing wrong with mine is that the string through ferrules on the back side of the guitar are a tiny bit loose in the holes, so they can fall out when you re-string it. A drop of super glue on the side of each one solved it. That won't be an issue though on the one you reviewed because it has a strat-style trem bridge.

If you ever have an opportunity, check out Artist Guitars, they are an Australian company, but produce guitars of a similar nature to Harley Benton.

A couple of screws ? A couple is two, Not four. The are four or, two pair of neck screws !

Feeling the vibrations is a sign that energy is lost in the body. The stronger they are felt, the lesser the quality of the guitar. The positive side of this is that it might contribute to some tone character but I never saw a serious study on it.

Interesting. So a body made of concrete would be more resonant that one made of wood???
@Leo_ofRedKeep4 жыл бұрын
@@addictedtogear No. Body resonance is a loss. A solid guitar made of concrete would have better sustain and a fuller tone. Fuller means that no frequencies would be attenuated, resulting in a lack of colouration of the sound. There would be more bass and more highs.

I just got mine in green and they're terrible neck divers. They just won't sit on your lap when sitting down. Standing up, the headstock acts like a boat anchor even with grippy thick straps. The tuners aren't the problem as I've pulled them off to check and the neck dive still occurs. I put it down to poor design and choice of woods for neck and body. If that's not a problem for you, the rest of the guitar is extremely well built with solid components, cavity shielding, fret finishing etc. What a shame the neck dive ruins the guitar.

Lucky Llou Because this was intended to be an unboxing video not a complete review. I will have a video coming out the week with sound samples of both Harley benton guitars. Stay tuned for that.
