Thank you for the review. I rather like the tones. How does the neck and frets feel?

@Adam thx, the neck has a satin finish, feels smooth, I would describe the neck not as chunky and not super flat, it reminds me a lot of 2022 HBs ... ST20HH, ST62, JA60, TE69... might be that they are using the same profil :-). The frets having sharp edges if you slide up and down with thumb and finger... but while normal playing I could not feel the sharp areas = need to play more and longer for my final conclusion

Hi, thank you for doing these demos. Do you know what's the tone pot value ? Some guys consider it could not be the usual 1 meg pot and that would explain a more mellow sound comparing to actual Jazzmasters.

@@fritzsguitars Thank you for replying. If someday, when you'll change the strings you take a look inside, let me know. Yeah the guitar actually sounds great, but I'm after classic jazzmaster tone with extra brightness, so I'm considering to get some soldering done + adding a "les trem" wich is a fantastic tremolo.

I've heard it is 250K, maybe 500K but definitely not 1M.

@Paul M. tremolo is something on my open list to learn to use it proper, so at the moment I try to avoid guitars with or in general I will block it :-). By the way the string tension in E standard with 10 - 46 is quite high, I need to see if it already works in D standard, at least half step down would work fine.

I wish somehow you could have told us the pickup selections you made and the tone controls settings.

Hi Louis, each riff I started from bridge pickup, to the middle pickup and to the neck. First round tone on. Later with the mellow sound same for the pickups but with tone off.
