Nice informative demo, thanks. On my side I have the Vox Little Night Train 2 watts, with volume, trebble, bass , and a bright switch. I paid it €190 few years back. It's a tube amp which gives you all the Vox tones you like, bright clean until 12o'clock then crunchy, and kind of Vox AC Top Boost when you switch out from bright. The 2 watts by Vox are really loud, I use only 1/3 of volume in bedroom environment. For the tone we hear, we must remember that the quality of the speaker is key: for that NT2, I use an Eminence The Wizard for Hard Rock.

Good vid, I mean it was no Red Box but I am pleased you are back. I like the amp and it appears to have already gone down in price. I wish they would use a switching power supply like on computers so you can just switch to 115v or 250v but I guess it is not to be. Welcome back and I am still rocking my Cory Mura T-shirt.

Cory Mura please give your opinion, is it worth buying a Harley Benton HB-80R?
@CoryMura2 жыл бұрын
Worth buying for who? For a total beginner, or if there is no money for other things, yes. It's better then nothing. For a professional player in a band? Hell, no

Good to see you back on here! Looks like a nice, affordable amp. An effects loop would have been sweet, but alas not to be. I have a Orange Micro Terror and this seems similar to that one, albeit with a tube power section. Good price point for all tube I think. Keep up the good work bro! God bless and rock on.

No effects loop kills it for me :( absolute requirement Joyo Bantamps for me.
@LoftySkinner5 жыл бұрын
An effects loop does not make something "feature packed". It's 2019 and everyone uses delays and reverbs so an amp without a loop is basically useless no matter how cheap it is. Sure you can kill the gain on the amp and rely on pedals for the OD but then what's the point in buying THAT specific amp? The gain structure is literally the only thing to set apart these amps .
@SgtPnkks5 жыл бұрын

I've played through a $100 CAD (roughly a third of what the Benton costs) Fender 15R (15 watt combo with 'verb) that sounded way better than this piece of shit, even through the tiny ass speaker that it came with. This "mini-head" craze is really starting to bore me. If you really need a practice amp, what you need is a modelling combo, not a head.
