Our DC-60 Junior is inspired by the golden age of rock, with a Meranti body and neck, paired with a smooth amaranth fretboard. Lose yourself in the hot, thick tones of the single P90D Alnico-5 Dog Ear pickup at the bridge position, wired via a simple control set of tone and volume. The DC-60 rewards intense, high-energy playing, but also delivers gloriously lazy, crunchy blues tones. Vintage appointments like Wilkinson 15:1 tuners and a wrapover bridge round out this powerhouse of a guitar. Time to let rip!

The pickup is a 7K, P90D-N-BLK, which Roswell intends for the neck position, hence the 'N' designation. It would seem that, at no extra cost, it could have been fitted with the 10K, bridge position dog ear pickup, P90D-*B*-BLK , for a fatter, more authentic SG jr. sound. How about a free upgrade for anyone who'd rather have a bridge pickup in the bridge position?

The player is good, the guitar is not.. Just one year ago Thomann were making all their single cut guitars from quality mahogani. Now they are using cheap meranti wood, not the red one but the light one, commonly used as plywood, that costs much less than mahogani - has worse tonal characteristics - and, most importantly, weights much more. They totally skip the chambering process, so ALL their guitars are now literally heavy as f×ck, sound much worse - but of course, the price is unchanged or higher. Their reasoning is sustainability - but in reality, it is nothing less than profiteering. Other makers continue yo build guitars from mahogani, without a problem, as it sounds much BETTER, and is LIGHTER, only Thomann of course does not. For these reasons, I totally stopped buying HB guitars from Thomann, I have their old mahogani ones which I will keep, and am buying no more. Do your own research on meranti tonewood, and you'll see why.

I have some expensive guitars (Gibson LPC, ESP and a luthier telecaster as example) and the guitars that inspiring me the most are a HB te, an epi sg std and now this HB SG jr. HB's QC are good, but they are cheap guitars, usually they need a setup, but the quality is awesome for this range of price

Did you correct the neck angle so the strings are not 1cm above the non adjustable pickup? Or include the necessary shims in the kit? Don't answer, it's rhetorical. I have fixed my guitar at no cost to you 😂😂😂
