This is the HB that brings me the most unique and pleasant tones, of the three i own. The neck is thin, flat, smooth, and fast. No lacquer just smooth goodness. The PUPs are as chimey and metal ping sounding as any guitar i have. The wood is good quality ash, chambered for weight and tone. It does stay in tune and can be manipulated easily through the bridge. Not a great bridge, but usable and adjustable. It is just fun and inexpensive.

@@SebPerfake Henning might not be the greatest guitarist of all time, but he's still more than good enough to demo the guitars. Despite his affiliation to Thomann I have also seen him being critical of a few HB models when they haven't been up to par - so he's not just a complete shill. Sure he may be biased to an extent (everyone is) but his videos are still a good source of HB reviews. I'll third that Jonathan Koh is a fantastic player and a great reviewer.

Definitely the best HB with any kind of humbucker. Roswell humbuckers generally suck (their single coils are great) but these filtertrons are quite good. This is also the guitar that needs the least work, the nut will need replacing one day but that's it. Changing the string tree heads is also a good idea but that's done in 2 seconds for a buck.

I think the neck has a 12" radius, medium Jumbo frets. it's pretty well build. Mine has some fret issues that need taking care of. Other than that, it's a pretty smooth neck. Full 42mm nut, so close to Fender specs. As for the profile goes, I would call it a medium "D" and very comfortble to play.

Interesting guitar for sure, but you could make any guitar sound great. I recently got my first HB, the TE-80 Prince thing, and I'm super impressed. You should review one of those! Apparently they've improved this model over the years, with better pickups (one feature of this type of guitar is that it supposedly has Strat type pickups rather than Tele), nicer headstock logo, and a very cool dark wood binding on the maple fretboard. I freakin' love this guitar! It is extremely heavy though... gotta be well over ten pounds. Anyway, I'll have to look into the Cabronita thing more. I'd heard of them but don't know much.
