Got one in metallic blue. I absolutely love it. I play it more than my Epiphone Les Paul Muse. I just added Hipshot locking tuners and roller string trees. Just ordered a Graphtech nut for it and some Gotoh compensated brass saddles. NEXT: Pickups and pots. That should do it. And my frets, with the exception of polishing, were crowned perfectly with no edges. I don't care about the polish because it shows me they put effort into the fret ends, which I think is far more important. I currently have 9 to 42s on it but I'm thinking about getting 12s since I want to play jazz with it.

nice one...cant wait to get mine...you dont need to pay mega £ for a brill quality, good sounding guitar...Harley Benton have proved this :D I will have my 4th HB soon..love them :)

@@munta1967 Why buy a cheap guitar and then spend a fortune upgrading, just buy a higher spec guitar and be done. The point of these guitars is their affordability and, to be honest, a lot of them are pretty damn good. Don't buy cheap if you want want Fender or Gibson spec. £79! why spend 300 more making it a 'decent' guitar.

Great to see you got back up and running so quickly, well done! That teles not bad, I'd personally prefer the freedom the kit version brings, but I can definatly see the appeal of this being prebuilt for only a few pounds more! I'm also on the fence regarding the headstock shape! :-)

Got Mine Yesterday. To be Honest, I got the ST20 which is the "Stratocaster Version". (same price) These are the "Most Inexpensive Models" of the Mock Brands. For a Canadian delivery, it took 11 days. Thomann do answer your questions but it takes 24 hrs. You Can Track your purchase as it moves to several stations in Germany. You Can Track it via your domestic Postal System. THE PACKAGING; Two Stages, an Outer Box which contains the Inner Box which contains the Product. My Outer Box was for all intents and purposes, Looking Like It was Folded in Half a distinct crease across the center of the Outer Box with Accordian like wrinkles at the edges? The Inner Box; I won't describe it because anyone would wonder How on Earth this was practical considering the Logistics Involved? (like; poop a brick) NEVER HAS THE PHRASE; YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, MORE APPLICABLE; THE TUNERS; " Are You Kidding Me"; comes to mind, some sticky and lethargic, others jumpy so that Tuning becomes a Crap Shoot. String Trees are US? Your strings couldn't Jump Out of The NUT if you held them at Gun Point, they are cut way to deep. (if the one u saw here wasn't then this points to inconsistencies) THAT'S NOT A NUT; it is a piece of cheap plastic, protruding out one side or the other. The slots are frazzled and frayed? (wait, do not consider Modding Just Yet) MAKE MY DAY; comes to mind if you attempt to remove the nut... think; disintegration. THE NECK?; an examination of the neck profile (Top to Bottom and Bottom to Top) the low E string side completely oblivious to what the high E string side appears as? (in essence; 2 separate roller coaster side by side) This wood is Not cured like a top end guitar so expect this to be subject to time. FRET COMPOSITION; Oh Dear; an initial tune up and play left indelible marks on the frets used? Like it had been in services for years. (the alloy metal used is really poor quality) In addition; those frets are the skinniest and tiniest, I ever seen! THE PICK UPS, "FLOATING BRIDGE AND SPRING PRELOAD IN THE BACK, are Strat things and inapplicable. Conclusion; #1. you would have to Replace the entire Neck IF you got into Electronics and Bridges. Machines Heads, Pick Ups. It took me 5 hours, some serious shimming and saddle height tweaking. Back to Front; a novice would be dead in the water to attempt to stabilize this unit. A New Fender Neck is $250+ (nice big stainless Steel fatties, Cured and stabled, much straighter) with great tuners. GIG THAT GUITAR?; in a pigs eye...
