Cool bikes. The older I get the more I appreciate factory stock bikes. My go fast days are in the past. Cool video though. I don't think that I had ever seen a bagger lift the front end on the street like that.

Very cool bikes...but with over 160HP and 160 Torque, I don't see how that bagger's stock tranny is going to stand the test of time...especially the way your friend rides it. You're definitely getting into Grudgebox territory here for longterm viability (IMHO). Also, am I to understand that nothing was done to the crankshaft either? Your buddy better take it easy on that thing, or I see a massive repair bill in his future.

The 128 could go in either. Right now the 135 is only for the touring models so wouldn't work on the FatBoy

@throttleblip9854 Жыл бұрын
To do the 128 like I did it would cost 7,900 after parts. The 135 is 8k for just the engine no labor to swap. Chris also did some extra parts in his so you’re right. Good bit of money difference. I’m at 145/142 he’s at 160/160 currently so something to consider for sure.
@freebehindbars8654 Жыл бұрын
@@throttleblip9854 $8k seems really steep for a 128. I take it you used the stock heads, just ported/polished? Currently have a FM 124”, but always thinking of what I can tinker with. Both of y’all’s bikes are badass.

@throttleblip9854 Жыл бұрын
Depends on the dealer ordered it. It's extra for the bigger screen but most people want the bigger one so thats how most get ordered.

If you want a bike that runs in high rpm- get a crotch rocket! Most people that ride big twins want torque...
@throttleblip9854 Жыл бұрын
high rpm and high revving aren't the same thing. Big v twin engines run best at high rpm but thats high for the engine. A sport bike wouldn't be doing anything in the 3500-5500 rpm range which is where the twins do best.

Hey i just found your channel. Im looking to put a 128 on my 114 roadglide special. Questions what parts did u put on?? I want something with good power but reliability is huge. I dont care about spending the cash in parts but its so deceiving when i see a channel like mhp. They trll u to build the motor all the way to the cranck flywheel ect... half of which i feel is not needed unless you are going to be 160hp and torque or more. Any advice would be appreciated. Im trying to hit around 140 to 150 torque and hp more woukd be nice but 140 is a target i feel is pretty easy with a 128 kit!!!
@throttleblip9854 Жыл бұрын
I don't think the 128 kit alone would get you there. Mine has Star 3/4 race cam, Star .640 valve springs, Star Compensator, SE adjustable push rods. Everything else (heads, pistons, cylinders, throttle body, etc) are all from Harleys 128 kit. Exhaust, air cleaner, and tuner used will all make a big difference also.

Headlight is Baja Designs LP4. It’s a nightmare honestly. The low beam isn’t usable and the high beam blinds people. Also it’s not made with a high low function(in there defense it was designed to be on or off not high low). They turn signals are from them as well and they are the S1. Also not designed to work as turn signals LOL.
