I replaced the stock Harley tires on my road glide with metzeler cruisetec and I’m very happy with them. Put over 4K miles on them so far and they have performed flawlessly.

The metzler is good but doesn’t last. I only got 8k miles on the set I had. The BEST bagger tire available is the Bridgestone Battlecruise H50. Fantastic performance and turn in and great longevity. And even better, the performance of the tire doesn’t diminish as it wears like all other tires I’ve tried. I consistently get 12-13k miles out of every set.

Big John, love the Metzler choice. Swear by them, every time I put a new pair of Metzlers on, my bike tracked and handled like a sport bike. I kid you not, the tread pattern is like no other. Got plenty of miles out of them, check tire pressure often. I won’t run any other tire.

Please select the correct load index of the Metzlers before installing. Metzler has the extra reinforcement side wall tires, get those because of the weight of the bike.

I already have an appointment to drop off my 22 RG LTD for tires tomorrow! I was so happy to hear you say you picked the Cruisetech over the Comander III's as i was torn between the two, but finally decided on the cruisetech last week. Great to hear you validate my choice. I have 11.5K on the stock Dunlops and about 2.5mm of tread remaining. I'll post a follow up after my initial ride on the new Metzler Cruisetechs. I'm in Mass and plan to go on foliage rides soon, it would be great to cross paths with you up here. Love the channel.

Put 100 miles on the new Cruisetechs today, so much smoother than the stock dunlops. Turns effortlessly from leaning left to right without feeling the flatness crossing verticle. The wife also noticed they were softer on road bumps. I will be happy with these. Going to circle the Quabbin Reservior tomorrrow. Thanks John.

I’ve run Dunlop American elites. I was happy with them. I then tried the Bridgestone H50. They cornered a little quicker and lasted almost as long as the American Elites. I just put the cruisetech rear on. I haven’t done the front yet, so I really can’t give a fair estimate of those yet.

Hey John, how about before you dismount your old tires you do a video on how well that Ride On stuff works with sealing a puncture, maybe screw a screw into the tire and lets see if it seals it, ya or na! Then when your dismount the tire lets see what the stuff looks like after a year through the winter months, this could be a huge selling point if all works out, I know I would be on board to buy it. Remember during the Get lowered video. i commented the main thing you should have noticed about all the bikes at Get Lowered was they all had Metzler. Best performance oriented tire available.

I went to copy your suspension setup, but was going to go with Legends up front. When I contact them, they told me the only way I can get the rear suspension 2+ is if I used a short exhaust. Now I'm thinking I should've waited on my rear suspension.

It works. I have a long exhaust and 14 inch shocks in the back, but you have to dent the muffler in more.

COM3s were dope on my Fatboy but ASS on my road king. Shit in the rain. Actually liking OEM. First new bike so first time on OEM. Dunlop elite I hear are the shit. Gonna be following on those cruise techs. Only got 7k on the new ride so I got a min til new skins (7500mi since mid July … man I need to cool it lol 😂)

Doesn’t the Road glide standard come with a 13inch rear shock so technically it would only be +1 in the rear?

Do you have any info on the kraus 1inch shock extension for the back? Do you have any friends or know anyone that is using the extension block? My road glide scrapes the floorboards when I’m going into a curve or corner enthusiastically 😂 I thought maybe raising the back 1 inch would help.
