That lot of people are crazy. Why would you by one of the most expensive motorcycles in the world, and not use it. What is the point? That is insane to just put the bike in the garage.

@@Gismo3333 because the main consumers of Harley’s are generally middle class people, and to acquire a bike like the CVO generally takes years of hard work. Not to mention that the majority of these bikes are financed, considering these bikes really don’t hold there value + high kms. It’s not a cheap purchase so I guess they try to keep them in the best condition possible for the next model when it’s time for an upgrade. Remember Danny ain’t the ordinary rider. He’s very well established professionally and financially. Case by case basis I guess. . I say if you can - do it !

Plus these things aren’t cheap to service. A 100-200km ride every couple of months is more than enough for a lot of people. Hell I ride 250-300km a week. And that’s not commuting either. If I had the time I’d be doing what Daniel does full time also. I’m sure you would be too.

@@Iswhatitisssss - Those that finance a bike to put as a status symbol in the garage… They are insane. They buy a bike they cant afford, to have a status symbol? Whats the point when they can't afford gas to drive the bike… And when it is payed down, just sell it, so someone else can enjoy their bike. As they paid the premium to get it new, and hardly used it. I will never understand that. Why not buy a bike they can afford to use. That what I do. Payed cash for my bike and all the gear, when I bought the bike, with my saved up money. My next bike are going to be the same. I will never pay rent on a bike that I cant afford to use, even. And I don't really need. That is so wast of money that people don't even have. Not hard to understand why many people are broke and get bankrupted, when they have no clue on handling their finance.

It’s doubled in price now as they aren’t made anymore and for some reason people down in aus love them. I wouldn’t sell it either way tho I’ll ride it till it’s dead as I enjoy it far too much. Australia is so so bad for finance . So many people live way out of their means. I know a guy who wears a big gold chain out to the clubs in the weekend, come Monday morning he’s taking it to the pawnshop so he can afford to eat until payday.

they'll use one of those carburetor vacuum attachment systems. You connect the system to the bag , then to the air intake of the carby, give it a couple of revs and the bags are vacuum sealed again. a very handy gadget.

Glad to see you guys on road yeeha!!! Danny one thing I've learned for myself when packing my RG I try and put all the heavy items in side saddles and lighter stuff in my tourpack it made a difference for me to keep it lighter higher up so not as top heavy especially 2 up riding . Safe travels

Great advice, and obviously not just for roadglides. Weight feels multiplied when its that high up. Helps to split heavy weight between both saddle bags aswell. Had 2 gallons of water in the tour pack (almost 20lbs), after a day I put a gallon on each side of the saddle bags and the bike felt 40lbs lighter.

Try learning counter-steering your bike, and stop fighting your bike. And you will not feel any extra weight. 20 pound on a 900 pound bike is noting.

Hey Brother, You should flip the ratchets to where they are on the back. That way V can lean back comfortably.😉 When you tighten the straps it will curl the top bag backwards instead of forward!! Just make sure the slack in the straps is tied/wrapped up. Might even consider cutting the straps to a shorter length. Be sure and singe the straps so they don't come unraveled.... Safe Travels 🙏👍
