So is Harley really using both metric & standard nuts/bolts on their stuff? Just asking..... lol, I used to cuss the engineers who would do that to stuff that I worked on, but ya gotta do what cha gotta do to get-r-done. Thanks man

Some hardware is metric especially on the latest Harley models. That bolt was definitely standard in my case. My 10mm just fit it more snug than any standard wrench I had on hand

Ahh, not that it matters....lol, at 62 yrs old it wouldn't surprise me. And I too for mixed matched them just to get the job done in places that weren't tight enough to cause damage. I was poking fun. What year did Harley start using the "electronics" like you are changing here? Like in American cars/trucks it was around 1996 that they changed forever but on bikes I do not know? Dumb question. What intial timingand advance slope would u put at if your bike was on a 96 big bore, 583 cams?
