Harley-Davidson FXR Thunderheader EV27 Sound

My 1987 FXRS-SP with EV27 and Thunderheader. I’m going to bring up the idle a bit, but I think it sounds pretty decent. I'll upload a video with some details upcoming.

Beautiful fxr. Great sound and performance with the thunder header, however, they just have a tendency to crack. At least in my experience.

They are the stock fork tubes for that bike. Which is +2 on an FXRS-SP

Yes. It is an FXRS-SP, so the +2 fork tubes came stock. They are the original tubes.

I haven’t noticed any difference in cruising RPM’s honestly.

How would a cam change do that? Maybe a 6 speed transmission or a different rear pulley but not a cam.

@@dallasacuff9335 well, they are Harley Davidson wheels. Harley-Davidson Thunder Star. They can be found for sale by private sellers pretty frequently. I actually like the Lightning Stars even better.
