I’m TRULY a Thunderheader devoted customer. I’ve tried numerous exhausts and the “go to” for sound and most importantly performance. Hands down there isn’t a exhaust that performs like the Thunderheader. Until someone can prove it wrong with “FACTS”, dyno sheets and the like. RedThunder exhaust is the only one that comes close….but no cigar!!
@freebirdsgarage2 жыл бұрын
I agree with you on that. I’d really like to get these bikes on the dyno and see the performance difference.

I have multiple 2 into 1 exhausts for my stage 4 2002 TC 95" and while Thunderheaders have the best sound, on the same build, my RB LSR 2 into 1 put down 8 more lbs-ft and 9 HP from 2-3k and yes I have Dyno sheets from Rob's Dyno out of Gardner Ma. Keep in mind, early TC softails don't have equal length headers on the TH but RB does.

I have the RB Racing LSR-1 on my 2000 RK (95”TC). Too loud. Quick way to get a ticket here in CA. My buddy has one on his S/S111 - way to loud, like obnoxious loud and I like loud. Thunderheader sound is hands down (for me) the best.

My TH on my FXR does have equal length and for the new baggers they’re equal length so that needs to be taken into consideration

the fab 28 sounds really good.... but when it comes to sound as far as engine and pipe combo. absolutely nothing sounds better then an evo and a thunder header. performance is pretty good as well. considering evos arent really happy when you bump the compression and power on stock cases. but man they are a blast to hear WFO. awesome video.

I couldn’t agree more on that . The combo is too classic, WFO 👊🏼

I’ve got a 93 EVO with a Thunderheader and an 83 Shovel with an RB Racing pipe the EVO is cammed the Shovel has S&S heads and I think my EVO sounds better. Such a classic sound I believe the TH was originally designed for the 80”
@freebirdsgarage2 жыл бұрын
The EVO is that pure Harley sound. I believe your right about the TH I herd it was designed around it too. I appreciate you watching and the support sir!!

Brother Jason. Nice little video on sound comparison. I've been looking for a new FXR exhaust. I'm running duals. I have always liked the sound of the Thunder Header but just don't like the looks. Your Fab 28 sounds good as well & I like the looks. Back in the day if you ran a 2-1 exhaust on a HD the guys looked at you like you should have bought a Japanese bike. My brother teased me when he seen the belt on my FXR instead of a chain...lol... I like the 2-1 exhaust. Happy Holidays.

Tank! I forgot about that for 2-1 exhaust and chains are back in style now too lol. Check out Power plant they just came out with a Red Thunder Shorty looks pretty rad! Happy Holidays and I appreciate the support!
