I’ve owned my 2021 Pan Am for 6 months now, done 5000km over that time. The bikes done 25,000km since new. In this video I go over what I like about the bike & what I don’t like, with a few tips throughout the video.

I've had a Pan Am 2022 model for 12,000+ km and I love it. I've had minor issues with the starter clutch, replaced under warrantee. Software updates, I don't like the most recent update in December 2023, as it disabled the USB-C charging ability. I have a Vance & Hines muffler and it is fantastic, improves the bottom end power under 5,000rpm and above, it is amazing and it sounds fantastic. My other bike is a 1988 Lowrider, hotted up and with a sidecar.

Sounds like you have the best of both when it comes to your Harleys. Cheers 👍

Pretty sure my usb-c port still charges my phone on mine since the December 2023 update 🤔 I rarely plug into it though to be fair unless I'm using the navigation app so I will be walking the shop floor now until I get home from work to make sure about my allegations 😂 p.s. to be continued 😱

Agree with it all. The jiffy stand is a p.i.a. but as you said, you get used to it. I have fitted the quick shifter which does allow clutchless changes but one thing it does is make for much smoother changes when you do use the clutch. The finding neutral hasn't changed though. It can be a pain occasionally. I've also fitted highway pegs which just makes the sealed road riding so much better. The flick up out of the way when on the gravel sections. Overall, no regrets. A lovely bike to ride.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with the finding neutral issue. Thanks for the feedback 😎

Great Review Deano on my third PanAmerica and absolutely beast of a bike 2024 has quite a few upgrades especially in the electrical system and bigger battery Quick shifter is an awesome addition also. I went with Vance and Hines 450 for exhaust. Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing Kia Kaha 🇳🇿🇨🇦✊🏾

Good that Harley have made improvements with the newer Pan Am. I may have to upgrade one day 😎

Neutral is tricky, sometimes it goes in like a dream, other times I have to blip the throttle and slightly release the clutch to get it to pop into neutral.

Great video. I just recently found out about not turning the bike on until you're sitting in it. Agreed about the click bait. Love my 22. Ride safe.

Great review. I have a '22 PAS. Agree with the clickbait stuff. I also agree with most of the likes and dislikes. Only thing you didnt mention was the seat. It feels great but after an hour my a** hurts! Its the slope downward, makes the top of my rear end go numb. I'm getting the seat fixed and i'm hoping that addresses the issue. Ride safe out there.

I don’t have an issue with the seat. I’ve watched some videos where the riders have complained about the issue you have with it. Ride safe, cheers.

I find the connection to the HD GPS dodgy, have to restart the app all the time when I turn it on to recognize that I'm using km in Australia, otherwise if defaults to miles.

I used it once when I got the bike, gave up after that

I don't have a problem with the sidestand after 1 year of riding it.

Hey brother, watching the video right now. Hope this helps me decide on trading in my 23 Sportster S with 8000km on it for a new one. I’ve been wanting to go off road more lately.

I recommend taking one for a test ride, just making sure the height of the bike is okay for you. Hope my video helps you out. Cheers Deano😎
