I rode my ´22 model Pan Am now for 10k. I’m really happy with it. No major issues. Since I’m from Germany I use it 99% on tarmac but a few times I had the chance to drive some gravel and some dirt. It felt safe and easy with this heavy bike. On the streets I can drive it really sporty within the legal limits - also with the Michelin Adventure tires on it - it‘s just incredible what’s possible with modern tires and bikes. I often switch between the riding modes and really like how easy I can adapt to different conditions or mindsets 😊. I came from a Sport Glide and a Buell XB9R now I have a stronger bike offering me much more opportunities to ride.

@@MarkoW-f3p I feel they are an underrated bike outside of the US, here in NZ I don’t see many on our roads. Glad you are enjoying yours, ride safe 😎

Nice ride man, love the color. I'm not a big fan of off road bikes, but, this is a nice bike. A nickles worth of free advise. Change the tires for off road rubber.

I have been using Dunlop Trailmax on my GS. Worked very well or me. I ride mostly on road or a few gravel roads. Servicing a BMW kind of pricy. DIY for about $250

I'm on the north shore and have a 2022 model. I've fitted it with motoz tyres. I like them, get hold of me and try them out. No too badly priced either. Cheers Mark.

@@MarkBardell-f2l where did you get them from & what’s the full name of them. Thanks

@deanosmotorcyclerides the rear is a motoz tractionator gps. Multi directional, 80/20 but if you fit them the other way around they become a more aggressive pattern for more off road oriented riding. At the time of purchase the fronts weren't available so after seeking advice via e mail to Kyle Bradshaw in the states I opted for motoz dual venture on the front. The combo works well in the gravel and after a few kms of bedding in, work really well on the seal as well. No dramas with riding at normal road speeds. Very slightly noisier till they settle in. No longer really noticeable. Got them from cycle treads. Good price too. Cheaper than the H D recommended tyres. You're welcome to check them out. Mike at NS Harley can give contact details. Cheers Mark.

I have a 2022 Panam, the army green version, got it in March 2023, and I'm very happy with it. I have 14,200km and was hoping to get it's 16,000km service soon, but it is in the workshop with a failed alternator, a magnet came loose. Fortunately it is in warrantee, and Harley-Heaven Melbourne are upgrading it with the 2024 alternator kit. I have a set of Mita E07+ for dirt road riding, I swap them with the standard tyres, and have done 7,402km on the Mita's and they still have a lot of tread depth, and are okay on sealed roads, with good grip in the wet. I would like to try the Michelin Anakee Wilds. I have the standard tyres fitted at present, usually have them fitted during winter, where I do less dirt road riding. I've only had two services, both cost less than $600.

@@hughmac7423 thanks for the info on the tyres, the Mita E07 seem to come up a lot when I do a tyre search. $1000 for a service is way to much, won’t be going back there.

I’m experiencing rough running at 3,000 revs in road mode and the same at 4,000 revs in sport mode. Feels like riding over rumble strips or bumps but on a smooth road. Worse when warmed up. Dealer has suggested it’s a characteristic of the pan am. Have you experienced this? Thoughts?
@deanosmotorcyclerides2 ай бұрын
@@stevejones3180 No I haven’t experienced anything like that. Maybe take it to a different dealership & get a second opinion. How many km’s has your one done?
