I wanted to stretch out on my HD, so I bought a Victory 🤣... Bars are one of the most comfort enhancing upgrades we can make. Even though its got decent legs, next year I'm going to treat the ol' Victory to a full suspension upgrade. A Penske 8900E rear shock and Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 Axxion fork cartridges

I did rear suspension first and I went with the Legend Revo Arc 13" and I explain it like going from a Pinto to a Rolls Royce. The difference is definitely night and day. Great video and ride safe. 🤙

I just bought the Saddleman Road sofa with rider back rest for my TriGlide Ultra, and it is awesome. I bought the 10” factory bars, but wish I had gone to the 12” bars (which I may change, but don’t tell my wife!). Are we ever really done changing things?

I am so happy with my 2020 SGS. Stage 1 tune jackpot header Reinhart mufflers screaming eagle intake Paul yaffe 10 " bar's Dave perewitz mustang seat 2019 CVO windshield. She is sweet. Suspension would be great. Need cash.

My ‘07 RK still has the stock seat and at 6’3” and a 36” inseam I sit fairly far back from the tank. However, you’re absolutely correct, every newer Harley touring bike I’ve tried has me feeling like I’m riding on the tank. What’s with that?! So I guess if I ever get a new bike I’m gonna have to plan on getting a seat that sits me back further. I also tried a Tallboy when I had my ‘09 Road Glide and like you I was not a fan. It set me back further from the tank but I also felt like I was sitting lower which I did not like.

🛑🛑 Bob…I know your waiting for the Harley Warranty to Expire on your bike (and Harley just got slapped for their Warranty Practices) however removing the Factory Headpipe goes a long way to removing the Heat Underneath my Wife’s Right Foot. Getting rid of “the Cat” allows the bike to breath, and my wife isn’t complaining about the Heat all day long. 🔥😀👍

I’m totally with Gene and when I had my ultra limited I definitely got the head pipe out of there. Going to be in warranty time for a while so not sure if and how I will handle that in the short term

Another great and informative video. I’ve done two of the three recommendations. I switched to 10” mini ape bars and the Legend Revo shocks. I currently have the HD heated seat which I would replace but I’d never hear the end of it from my wife. 😂🤬. I’d love to get the split mirrors like you have but they only come in chrome and my Ultra is the blacked out model. I haven’t been able to find any black split mirrors from any suppliers. If anyone knows of a place selling them in black I’d appreciate a heads up.

You better keep that seat 😂. I swear I’ve helped sell maybe 100 sets of those mirrors to people just by talking about them on KZbin and could sell even more if they would only make them in black because I don’t believe they do

So you changed the factory rear shocks on your 21 Limited? I found them to an outstanding ride but if you changed yours out then the ride now must be even better. I've had 2 RGS and now the 21 Limited and couldn't even imagine going back to the Special ride wise anyways. Great videos thank you.

Appreciate that Dave and I did upgrade the rear suspension and it makes a big difference. I say all the time you don't know how good the stock suspension is until you put on something else. I love the RGL. Ride safe!

Hello 👋. New to the channel. I heard you talk about your Mustang seat in another video. I'm 6'3 and my 2014 ultra limited feels a little cramped also. It came with the baby appes that I really enjoy but the seat is my next move. I really enjoy the padding on the stock seat. Does the mustang have some kinda cush/padding?

Also on your old video with your SG you put a picture in the corner of the seat and it was just over $600, now the link in this video says it's almost $1000. Is this correct?

Not a huge difference from that perspective but it pushes you back two inches. It was like a new bike when I had it on my Ultra. I put it on immediately when I bought the Road Glide

My spin on this subject?...If iam gonna Buy a brand new HD or any other Brand?...If it doesnt fit me? I wont buy it...I am not gonna buy a new bike with 4 zeros on the end and spend more money on a seat...handlebars...suspension(not until it wears out)...The only thing i would buy 1st...Exhaust and tuning...and maybe highway pegs...

How is the back seat for your wife? That is my biggest concern on making her comfortable on the ride as well.

She says it’s fine and not much difference. I will say she preferred the stock seat over this but can’t explain why. She does not ride with me much so not an issue but she sees it as different.

@@BoDean52 I have only done a handlebar adjustment, and controls adjustment, and it improved the comfort of the ride just enough that I can ride longer. I am sure a new seat would be a great improvement. Just the thought of purchasing a seat though... and hoping it improves the ride at three to six hundred dollars is a big investment.

Hey sir, I'm not bashing anything. You know how much I loved my 2020 Electra Glide. With the changes (mustang seat, mirrors, tour pac) but, why doesn't HD offer them on the floor? You know what I bought and the only thing I plan to do is raise the handlebars about an inch. Plus I'm old and allowed to bitch. See ya soon my friend.
