This bike at first glance looks perfectly normal straight out the showroom bike. the extras are 100% perfect for this and subtle yet very nice. love the blinkers/daytime lights , very cool looking bike

Thanks very much I appreciate your comments, unfortunately when I was filming I forgot to mention I have also put on 4.5inch pullback risers.

Spotted them as just about to fit to mine. May I ask where you obtained the running/turn signal lights please?@@scenewithchips8993

Nice video. I own a Sport Glide 2018, 80.000 km now, so it will never be boring ;) Where did you find the crashguards on the back?

I’m torn between the new Fatboy or Sportglide, haven’t ridden either yet, just sat on them ! , I’m 71 and last bike was Ducati 907, 30 years ago ! And Kawasaki Z1000ST before that. From all reviews I guess the Sportglide would handle better than Fatboy I like all the mods you’ve added, especially exhaust and Floorboards - as a matter of interest does adding an aftermarket exhaust affect warranty ? And how much was first service ? Cheers 😊

Hi, I am also 71 and Harleys tend to be heavier than the speed bikes, if you look through my videos you will see that I had a Fatboy for 9 years. I went for the Sport Glide as it was lighter but also it handles better due to the inverted forks. The new Fatboys are very nice but about 20kg heavier and with the fat back tyre don’t handle as well. I don’t know where you live but I certainly would recommend getting a test ride on both, if you can you probably need a few hours to get the feel. If I was recommending I would go for the sport glide due to its versatility. Regarding the warranty, the aftermarket exhaust slip on does not affect the warranty. The 1st service is about £250, I get all my work done by the mechanic you see in my videos but he is based in Anglesey. If you’re buying a new bike I would try and negotiate the first service included 😉 welcome back to 2 wheels after 30 years , be careful, but saying that if rode a Ducati you’re obviously an experienced rider. Good luck, let me know what you decide 👍

@@scenewithchips8993 Thanks for the info, I live in WLondon but moving to Dorset , I have nowhere to keep a bike at the moment …. One of the reasons I want to move… I have friends in the New Forest Chapter, hence going for Harley and ‘joining in’ 🙂 I went to Guildford Harley to look at Sportglide, they told me warranty would be ok as long as they fitted exhaust/ air filter/ tune up. £2k… Reinhardt do a slip on for £500 and no need for tune, keep original air filter , just a thought . I’ve sold my house and now looking, so I guess it’ll be a couple of months, but I’ll let you know how I get on 🙂

2k seems quite expensive, I bought a TAB performance slip on from USA as I didn’t want to change the look and wanted to use the original black heat shield, anyway good luck with house hunting and Harley hunting 👍👍
