You're the politest Harley owner ever. Great job with the channel bro.

Don’t get hung up on the numbers. I have a stage 1, heavy breather and Vance and Hines Big Radius and ride with a mate who has a Fat Boy 114 with slip on Reinhardt pipes. Honestly, when we’re giving it the beans there is nothing in it between the 107 and 114. Indeed I think off the mark my buddy’s 114 is a fraction slower. The short stroke 107 probably has something positive to do with that. 😎👍

Yes, I never really need more power as this 107 makes me have to pay attention anytime I do give it the beans. I'm not someone that races around anyway, but it is fun to listen to the motor off the line though 😀

Nice video, man. It's a great bike, I think you should keep it. I live in Australia and I will be getting one next year. It's good value for money. If you compare it to the Low Rider ST, the only useful thing you get on the ST is the 117 motor. Functionally, this ticks all the other boxes while being a lot cheaper.

Yes for sure. Here in Canada they don't have the Sport Glide anymore, but I do plan to keep it until one of my kids is ready to take it on. Plus, I'm the one guy that actually doesn't like the Low Rider ST fairing...🤣

I love the Sport Glide. I'm hoping to keep the bike. And sorry about the audio at the end...not sure what happened...

I have a '21 in white. I have most of the chrome Empire Collection on mine and the Harley halo lights. I also added a Cobra NH slip-on. Love the bike. I also have an '18 Triumph Street Triple 765R and just got a '23 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport in February

That's a pretty nice collection. You got all angles covered. My buddy just got the tiger 1200. What an awesome bike!

I have a 03 Electra Glide TC 88 with cam\slip ons Tune on OEM filter. And it is blast to ride. But, when I get on the 107 SG I own also OEM the light weight of SG and bigger displacement I never felt SG needed bigger CI. I do feel it does feel flat on power 3-5 gear if going up hill getting on highway. But, take offs are pure power and roll on power specially at highway speeds is great. People chase numbers for bragging rights. My wallet can't afford that. I do agree though SG should have come with bigger CI just off name. But, my use with 107 makes more sense and 107 gets better MPG so really a 107 even in a tour makes sense to me. Unless trailer in tow two up riding.

I've never had a need for a bigger engine. The 107 has plenty of power. I did put an air cleaner on it (bought it with the slip on) and did the dynojet tune. With just that I noticed a big difference. I've thought about doing a cam, but it would be more for the sound than for higher numbers. Still puts a smile on my face riding my SG and that's what it's all about

I think color matching in the states at least was 2021, I've got a 2020 and it wasn't a option for me. 2020 was the first year in the states you got LED tail lights and brake lights though. I love my SG it's the perfect cruiser/tourer imo. I can fit a few days worth of clothes and bathroom stuff for a nice weekend trip. If I want to make a week of it I can throw a backpack on the sissy bar. Still not what a full touring bike can haul but it was also about 12000 dollars cheaper so I'm good.

I'll add I wish the 107 was liquid cooled, I hate how on hot days the engine revs up to push the oil to help with cooling. It's annoying in traffic when your bike goes from 8-9 hundred rpm to 11-12 hundred.
@streetsean6 ай бұрын
Yeah the SG is a great bike. To be honest i haven't had the rpm Rev up like that before, or at least haven't noticed it. I do tend to ride north of where I leave away from the city and traffic. Liquid cooling would be a nice to have provided the rad was as small as the oil cooler is, wouldn't want it to ruin the look of the bike. We've only done weekend rides with it and it's been great for that, but my wife is always looking for more room...but that's her issue not the bikes 🤣. I'm wondering if they will bring it back to NA after the 3rd year, kind of like what they did with the breakout?

@@streetsean Well unless they are pulling my leg the dealership said it was normal on hot days, it only happens when I'm in stop and go traffic. We can't lane split where I'm at in the states and even though I ride a HD I'm not much of a outlaw. The SG is only my second bike and it was a big change with the weight but I'm only about a hour and a half from the pacific coast so it's great for weekend trips to the ocean. I really like the color on yours, I wanted a white one but none were available so I ended up with a wicked blue I think it's called. Pretty much looks black unless the sun hits it. Eventually I'll have it vinyl wrapped white. Anyway I've rambled enough hope you have a good one.
@streetsean6 ай бұрын
@jerrywilliams198 I'm not doubting you on that, as I think they have that cylinder shut off for heat as well, but I've never noticed that either. We don't have lane splitting either, and I'd feel like an ass if I tried it around here. We do have a couple of riding clubs that are pushing for the filtering, which I hope gets some traction as it would be nice to not have to worry about being rear-ended. You have fantastic riding out there, we did a drive down the PCH, but now we want to bring the bike out there and do it again.
