Harley Davidson Touring - Saddlebag Guard Install

This video was really for me to play with my first GoPro. It’s a little slow and boring and not likely to interest many people, but it was good to mess around with the camera and do some editing.

thanks for a nice video of this process. I took my time on the first side but other side went on quicker since I knew what to expect. Not new to motorcycles but new to Harley and I have a factory custom paint so I'm extra careful. Thanks so much for putting this out there.

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm going from a lowrider to an electra glide. The weight is more than unnerving than I expected. I need to practice. So that means I got to do a little protection. I will try to tackle this myself now.

Good video and just what I was looking for. I'm thinking of adding some additional saddlebag protection to my '17 SGS. Thanks for the heads up on the beefier guards that are available. I had never heard that you might not be able to remove the side covers with the thicker guards installed.

I know this will sound dumb but the bag support, do have to leave it loose and then fit the bag to make sure its supporting correctly and then remove again and tighten up?

On the bag support, mine is opposite. How do you get the bolt out of the T45 is facing the fender?

I have a 2013 ultra limited and trying to put rear crash bars on do I have to cut the saddle bag support it has now to put the crash bars on?

A little bit too much torque buddy. Sooner or later you’re gonna snap off a bolt!
