All these comments are very interesting. This is bracket racing all bikes are evenly matched. The Honda got the head start because he dialed his bike at 10.30 where the Harley is dialed at 9.30 so the Honda has a full second head start. It all comes down to reaction time and running your number.

A 14 to 1 Harley is about like a stock 1000 Japer. Harleys have to have a turbo or supercharger to make real power at them low RPMs.

Hey look, thats a nice old cbr. Hell, actually, thats quite old. Lol. A race is a race, but reminds me of the guy down the street that every meet brags about how his harley can hang with sportbikes. Beating a 15 year old cbr with probably 50,000 miles on it is a bit different than beating a busa or any new-ish (less than 15 years old) 1000 lol. That harley did do a good time. Go look up chris moore vs ricky gadson stock motor and see what a stock motor bike does...7.9 in the quarter. 10.3 is impressive for that old thing being stock and probably wrecked though since it has some new looking fairings. Kudos to both guys.

I don't even like Harley Davidson..even though I have worked on them..I built a 1200 sportster.. Screaming eagle cams..pipes..carb rejetted..air filter ..of course new pistons..rods and crank.. When I rode it after the build .It was only then I found out why they call this shit Screaming Eagle..This damn thing would scream!! Sounded awesome too..
