I just took my 08 Road glide apart and the emulator valve fell out. Do you know wich way the valve goes back in? Thank you

What?? Touring bikes have the cartridges' emulators in them? That's weird, never heard that before..I just took my 2020 Road King forks apart to up grade the suspension, and found no emulators type product in it.. just the same ole damping rod, springs and spacers, washers, and oil
