Thanks Jerry, I love the style of the that bike. Back when I was about 5 yrs old, I rode on my uncle's new police Electra Glide(1965) to say the Harley bug bit me would be an understatement. So happy that Harley is building these!

Thanks Jerry. I ride mostly older bikes these days. I had an 01 Road King retired police bike that I bought with only a few thousand miles on the odometer. I loved that bike. I don't put the miles on my bikes like I once did an mostly ride my 59 Duo-glide these days. But if I was a younger man I would buy this new Harley even if I had to go back to work to afford it :-)

Great looking bike. While on vacation, I stopped into Manchester, NH dealer. They had one on the floor. Dealer was wall to wall with bikes and more outside, hugh inventory. Thanks for posting.

I found my 107 heritage the windshield combined with feet up on the mustache bar was very smooth. Tremendous passing torque too.

I just bought a Highway King. I like it the 114 engine really moves it out. Mine is orange and its 894 of 1000. They only made 1000 it's a one-year motorcycle. I had to buy the heal shifter and the docking hardware for my luggage rack. $250.00 more the same day I rode it home. Its got a clutch cable instead of the hydraulic clutch. I thought Harley Davidson was greedy for not including the heal shifter and docking hardware. I ordered it from Las Vegas Harley Davidson in July and got it in October.

I like the appearance of this bike so much more than the Icon Electra Glide. I have never liked the new style rear turn signal light bar, also smaller turn signal lights on the front of the bike looks off imho. This motorcycle is just lovely and classic looking... so is my 2002 Road King btw 🙂

Beautiful bike and nice video! By the way, it is not the Police seat, it is the mount and spring, all parts below the seat, but the seat is not as wide as the police seat. It is also a bit harder. I was thinking of getting the wonderful chrome rail for my police RK but it doesn't fit because the police seat is wider. And for the passenger seat, you might have to remove the chrome rail, which would be a pity... Thanks and greetings from Germany!

Very nice review. This bike is a beauty. With a 34 " inseam I think it would be comfortable, but it doesn't look like a backrest could be used. I liked the old 65 "tombstone" speedo for its looks. This new "big old gas pump" look instrument cluster is ok. Maybe there are plans to add things later to fill the space. Otherwise the bike is beautiful and more storage could be gotten with a nice black leather handlebar bag and a chrome luggage rack on the back fender. If it is as vibration free as you say I just might have to get one.

i had two bikes that looked very similar to that my 69 and 70 my 71 was pretty close but i built that in 81 and so it had a mustang seat and soft fringe leather bags,ape hangars and a sissy bar. i actually like this one. its the first of the remakes i do like.

I wonder if you were able to see over the windshield? The camera view seemed to have you looking through it, if so, is it possible to adjust it lower? I too have a 29 inch inseam, so I was happy to hear you could touch the ground. Is the seat height adjustable, and if so was it on its lowest setting ? Are the shocks adjustable for spring preload? Are headed grips included in the 30k price? Thanks for the video

I recently found your videos and enjoy them. I have a question about using the rear brake. My legs are long and my ankle not as flexible as it should be so I generally hold my foot off the floor board and lightly apply it. In doing your maneuvers do have to use the break or is the cluch and throttle OK. I ride a 2003fatbot and learned on a 883 sportster. Thanks

I wonder, they discontinued the Road King, now they come out with the Highway King. If it sells out fast will they bring back a more traditional looking Road King? This bike looks ALOT like my '07 Roadie with the chrome spoke wheels and high profile tires. If they made a more retro RK like my '07 but with the 114, I'd be at the door waiting for them to open.

It is a sharp looking HD, but I'm personally not a fan of the colored windshields. I will admit it looks good, but I hate riding with one in front of me, the coloring bothers me from the seat for some reason!

Keep in mind that if you're looking down thru the lower part of the windshield, you're looking at the ground in front of your front tire. Even at 10 mph, you won't have time to avoid anything a few feet in front of the bike. That's why in my classes in the slow cone weave. riders look down at the cone directly in front of the bike and they run it over. Look as far as possible ahead of your path of travel. You can see whats directly in front of your tire with your peripheral vision.

I wonder why they went back. For some reason they did. Very interesting. I had a recall on my 2017 ultra. They said they wanted to replace a rubber washer on the hydraulic slave cylinder.
