For my 2006 sportster it was close but far. LEFT SIGNAL X2, then dual confirmation flashes RIGHT X1, dual flash, LEFT X1 two more dual flashes. Then hold button for 10-25seconds.

If you have two fobs. Like a new one and one that already works... You need to recalibrate BOTH of them. Do the procedure once. Then press and hold both keys. One at a time until they are accepted.

Make sure that your key FOB battery has at least 3 volts and is installed correctly. Verify that the antenna for your security is correctly located and is not out of its correct, factory position. If you have replaced your factory seat with an aftermarket seat that has a metal base, it may interfere with the security antenna. Otherwise, the m/c may not be recognising the FOB for some reason. You may need to go to a dealership or to a shop that has the correct computer software. The FOB may need to be reassigned. www.fixmyhog.com/post/videos-harley/

I have 2008 Super Glide Custom. I have tried the on-off, on-off, on ...left signal x3, right signal x1 but the PIN does not show up for me to change. It just stays in the Km mode. Any ideas?Well, I am 2nd owner. Figured the original owner had changed the PIN. Nope- still in factory code. Entered it and bike turns over. Appreciate the videos.

Hi Mike. Here is the sequence for assigning a personal pin code. This needs to be set with the Key FOB present. Set engine Stop Switch to OFF. Turn Ignition Switch to IGNITION. Hold both turn switches until confirmation. Security lamp blinks at fast rate and "0- - - - " is displayed in the odometer. The first digit will flash. Enter first digit of code (3) by pressing left turn switch 3 times. Press right turn switch 1 time. The first digit will be displayed and the dash will flash in the odometer. Enter second digit of code (1) by pressing left turn switch 1 time. Press right turn switch 1 time. The first two digits will be displayed and the next dash will flash in the odometer. Enter third digit of code (3) by pressing left turn switch 3 times. Press right turn switch 1 time. The first three digits will be displayed the next dash will flash in the odometer. Enter fourth digit of code (1) by pressing left turn switch 1 time. Press right turn switch 1 time. The first four digits will be displayed and the next dash will flash in the odometer. Enter fifth digit of code (3) by pressing left turn switch 3 times. Press right turn switch 1 time. Security lamp stops blinking and the odometer displays miles. Both my Fobs are no longer syncing, so what can i do to re sync it as this method will not work as alarm will not stop. If i do a manual override and turn security system off , it rearms as soon as i turn ignition to off so this method will not work for me. How do you reprogram a fob to bike when you have no fob to stop alarm going off in first place ? My Fobs are both buttonless and have new batteries

Hello, Unplug your main fuse before disconnecting the battery. This should keep alarm from sounding. Verify that your FOB batteries are correctly installed. You should also be able to disarm with your personal pin code. Hi Harold. If you are not able to disarm your system with your FOB, you should still be able to disarm with your personal pin code. Here are tips from the electrical manual for your year and model - Make sure that your cell phone in at least 3" away from the FOB. Can be experiencing RF interference. Try disarming the bike in a different location (outside). Verify that the antenna wire is in its OE location and that the seat has not been replaced to one with a metal base. Check for damage to the antenna wire. Be absolutely certain that your FOB battery is installed correctly. If the FOB battery has less than 3 volts DC, do not use it. www.fixmyhog.com/post/videos-harley/
