Playing as Harley and her seeing the Batman Museum would be accurate since she was there throughout the Arkham Quadrilogy. She was there at the Blackgate Riots, the Joker’s Madhouse takeover, the Rise of Arkham City, and Scarecrow’s City of Fear. This makes you want to play all 4 Arkham games again.

That’s something I still can’t figure out. If this game is tied to the Arkham games, how are they going to explain blackcasting Deadshot? I know that since the 2016 Suicide Squad movie, when Will Smith played him, they’ve been trying to make black Deadshot canon going forward, but it’s just off-putting when the character was already set to look a certain way in the previous games set in the same canonical universe. If they really wanted to not cause confusion, they should’ve just called him Bloodsport like in The Suicide Squad (2021) movie, and nobody would be the wiser. Hell, they could've taken it one step further and said that Deadshot was his mentor, and learned everything from him.

I'm think they're going to explain it at some point in the story. They referenced it multiple times already in the game. In the opening cutscenes, Boomerang even tells Deadshot, "Aren't you supposed to be white?" At the very least, it seems like the writers here remember Harley was traumatised by Joker’s death(s). Other cutscenes seem to indicate those writers forgot that Arkham Harley never left the Joker, remaining obsessed with him even after his death. I suppose it’s been 5 years since the events of the last game, but it doesn’t seem enough to make her completely move on like she is the comic book version of Harley.

That would probably be a completely different type of game, the whole point of using the Fear Toxin was that Bruce's time of taking the fight directly to the criminals was over. So he used the Fear Toxin to restore that intimidation factor he lost when he was unmasked. I'm not even sure you could make a game out of that premise, unless the entire game is controlling drones that deploy Fear Toxin over muggers until they piss their pants.

I loved Harleys character in the Arkhamverse (injustice as well), but she seems so off in this game. I at least appreciate Harley being playable again and Kevin returning to be Batman but the way it’s Handled in this game is just disappointing. Harley shits on her old outfits, Batman dies in a disrespectful way and it’s like a slap in the face to the fans who grew up playing Batman. If this was a standalone title it wouldn’t be “as bad” but its canon meaning somehow Harley isn’t obsessed over joker now and likes ivy even tho they were just best friends. For me Arkham Knight was perfect to end the Arkham franchise. Batmans end is honourable, we get to play as Batman, Nightwing, Catwoman, Red Hood, Harley, Robin, Azrael and Batgirl (ig u could include joker kinda as well). i do think the Batmobile was overused in knight tho XDD. Tbf I think I would enjoy this suicide sqaud game mainly with traversal and maybe shooter. I can’t lie as soon as I saw this “Arkham Harley” not supporting her red and black colour scheme and seeing dead shot have a race swap and then it being a “shooter” game, ik it would probs fail/not do well. Tbf I enjoyed avengers (it got rlly repetitive rlly quickly tho) and Gotham knights. I have a feeling I will like the gameplay, traversal and new chapter stories (Idk now tho actually), I just don’t like what happens to the JL. Thx Sweet Baby and Rocksteady for ruining a legacy. I get we are playing form a villains pov but it’s rlly not the JL dying for me at this point. It’s how they die 😢. However it is what it is unfortunately . So Yh I’m not considering it canon and I’m just gonna try to appreciate the game since Kevin performed in it. The four Arkham games are still the best XDD (at least Batman doesn’t look rlly weak and Harley looks cool in those). Anyways I hope everyone has a lovely day! RIP Kevin Conroy.

So I had an idea that DC could use for a Superman-esc game. You create a regular Joe character but they have Superman’s abilities. It’s story driven but choice is the real key. You can save people, but collateral makes them dislike or outright hate you. You fight monsters and other threats. But essentially it boils down to three options. Homelander option: Partner with the Lex Luthor characte or the government, and be perceived as good but in reality you wear a mask cause you are so disgusted with yourself. The Omni man option: Screw everyone going to Fight anyone who gets in my way or just plain looks entertaining enough to fight. The Superman option: You do your best but know not everyone will approve of you but the day to day interactions with regular people who actually see the good you do make it worth it.

It's on purpose. New Deadshot calls og deadshot a fraud. It was implied on an official tweet as well. I _think_ the idea is og Deadshot comes from another universe, but the game never bothers to explain it (or at least I didn't see it). The truth, of course, is they absolutely wanted a Bl*ck character and decided to lazily race-swap one instead of just thinking five more seconds to choose another character.
