Mine arrived about 2 hours ago.... 4 days from Germany to Florida (wow!). From what I can so far, I'm impressed as all get-out... and I usually play Ovation acoustic-electrics (for acoustic work). It sounds as good as the video demonstrates; the wood has a wonderful feel & sound. The neck is SO smooth, and the perfect size for my hand. The build is excellent, and with the built in Fishman, tuning is a breeze. In fact, the only component of the instrument that has a "cheap" feel is the tuners - they're just not as precise as I'm used to... but what the heck - it's a $245 lefty that sounds like it worth at least twice as much. The "look" of the mahogany is warm & stands out. The unplugged, un-mic'd sound is delightful. I'm really very happy with it. Good job, Harley Benton/Thomann. Excellent value.

What a beautiful sounding axe. I thought for many years you had to spend more money on an acoustic guitar as opposed to an electric. But this guitar has such a nice, warm sound. You don’t need to spend Gibson, Martin, Taylor money anymore for a good acoustic.

Great guitar. Just bought it as I wanted an electric acoustic. My 5th HB. Last 4 were electric. , st -62sb vintage, (good quality strat for the $) ST-70 Paisley (awesome) , SC 550 Desert Flame (big and burley) and the DC Cutom (awesome). Friends can't believe the quality for the price.

I've been playing Harley Benton guitars ever since I started learning guitar back in 2012/13. If I didn't have access to affordable good quality guitars as a beginner I wouldn't have evolved nearly as quickly. Now I'm studying for a degree in classical guitar and have just made an order on the CLA-15MCE as my "living-room guitar". It's been cool to see Harley Benton evolve from that cheap "knock-off" brand to what I today would call a good-quality reputable one. Love from Sweden.

Came in a few days ago. The $70'ish for shipping was steep but from Germany to Texas in like 4 days was impressive. The guitar sounds phenomenal. I suck at guitar so no demo video from me. At $320 American, shipped. I'm really impressed. I'll be looking at HB for the next instrument I purchase. I'm thinking a bass.

the Custom Line has laminated Okoume and solid wood has solid Okoume. Solid wood is considered the "better" one but after all it's a matter of taste.

Great sounding guitar, but when you say 'all mahogany body' do you mean 'all mahogany'? or is it solid mahogany top with mahogany laminate back and sides?

I think it's misleading the way guitar construction is advertised, and I am not picking just on Thomann as I am a customer and purchased guitars from them and been very pleased. I had a big argument on youtube with someone who was doing a review of the HB GS Travel guitar and stating that it was 'all solid mahogany', and when I pointed out to him that it was not solid but mahogany laminate he said 'it's solid, Thomann states it's mahogany so it must be solid mahogany''. I emailed Thomann and got a very nice email from Martin Hussong' informing me I was right.

Just buy this guitar but..there's no strap button in the neck position. The guitar in the video has it! (min 2:11) The guitar sounds very good! :-)

I’m choosing between this the CLD-41 and the CLF-200. Which would you recommend for a nicer mid/ high range ? These 3 are the ones I have narrowed down to . Can’t decide though

Puh tough one, the CLD-41 might be the right one for you. It's got the most balanced tone from those three. Not that the others are bad, but they are more "specific" or "characteristic" in their sound. Hope that helps :)

Harley Benton Thanks for the reply man . i make ethnic/ world sounding music with a lot of weird synthesized sounds mixed with organic sounds . Will be 100% getting the Nashville nylon in a month or so . For now I’m about to order the the 41 and looking at one of the strat copies . Not opposed to a different electric though. Do you recommend any? Looking for something versatile . If you had to grab one electric what would it be ? Mainly looking for really nice playability / rich sound . Eventually I can replace the pickups so points for playability

C'è una grande differenza tra le due: - harley benton cla: è tutta in mogano, il che conferisce un suono più dolce, improntato sulle medie frequenze, comprimendo quelle basse. inoltre questa è una auditorium (000) cioè la cassa ha una dimensione inferiore rispetto a quella standard, questo produce un suono con meno bassi e nel complesso un suono più adatto al fingerpicking - ibanez: è una dradnought, quindi ha una cassa più grande, potrebbe avere più volume e più basse frequenze. Però ha è tutta il legno laminato che contrariamente al legno massello è meno risonante (il suono dura meno a lungo). altra differenza è il top in abete, che conferisce un suono più "brillante"' inoltre le chitarre in legno massello col tempo tendono ad avere un suono sempre più ricco, quelle in legno laminato no ti consiglio di ascoltare differenze tra chitarre in mogano e in abete ma soprattutto di provarle tu stesso. Io ho questa HB da poco e mi piace tantissimo il suo suono, ma non perfettamente adatto a qualsiasi genere (ad esempio uno stramming duro e pesante non è adatto per questo shape, ma va molto meglio una dradnought) a causa di un naturale sbilanciamento su medie e alte frequenze.. quindi dipende molto anche dallo stile che usi nel suonarla
