Harli and Ryan are so cute and funny together!! 💕 Also.. I have a sneaking suspicion the peeps with negative comments like 'how could he not like plants , what's wrong with him, he's horrible' etc are coming from sad , lonely people that don't have happy, healthy relationships... Otherwise they would understand relationships need balance. How boring if you liked exactly what your other half likes .. Variety is the spice of life!! Thanks for coming to my ValTalk everyone have a nice weekend 🤗

Ryan reminds me of my husband. He will tell me "no more, u have enuf"! Even too many sometimes. But then he took me to lowes. I had one lil $5 diffenbachia. Hugging it like it was my world! 🤣 he says thats all u want, u sure? So i grabbed the hanging basket of syngonium i absolutely loved. Then he picks up a calathea an says, "u dnt have this one!" Just wen i think he hates em, he surprises me. He DOES pay attention. Wen i told him thank u, he tells me "well i do support ur hobby." Love how supportive they are even if they think we crazy plant ladies! U guys keep being u an wud love to see ryan on more of ur videos! My husband doesnt watch but loves hearing his responses to u as i watch!

A lot of compromises in a marriage. As far as the holes in the wall, I'm with you Ryan. I own my house and I hate putting holes in the walls, I'll think of any and all options before I resort to that. My husband passed away 8 years ago. I started collecting plants after he passed away. They give me something to do and enjoy but I'd give them all up if I could have him back. Love your videos Harli, you and your Mom have been my go-to's for planty advice since my plant journey began. Love these Q and A's! Be well, be happy, be blessed. Sending love from Oregon.

How in the heck Ryan is working on his second masters degree and doing all of his construction side hustles and being a father and you being an amazing mother and you doing so much in the plant community? How in the heck??? You guys are rocking it and I'm proud of y'all everyday. Also, I'm absolutely pro holes in the wall. I'm going to have to do work on my house before I sell it anyway. Might as well get my full value out of my home by making it perfect the way I want it and doing the repairs later

My husband has a passion 4 outdoor plants, while my passion lies with both indoor/outdoor plants. He does have an outdoor green thumb & his hard work with landscaping our yard has been so beautiful! However he does not énjoy my houseplants! He hates the messes they can cause & trying 2 walk thru a room without brushing by my plants drives him insane! But, becuz he loves me, he indulges me. He knows that I'm a nurturer. My priorities lie (in order) family, friends, plants & crafting! I need 2 feel needed. So... He puts up with me & my quirks! If Ryan can put up with so many plants, that he hates, then it just proves he loves u!

Do you know what Ryan, I feel like so many content creators are used to having a camera in their face even for “candid” moments and know what to say to come across as a good person/husband. So viewers aren’t used to a little bit of honesty, no matter how innocent! 😂 I appreciate you both just being yourself online. Definitely the reason why I watch this channel. I have so many hobbies and interests my husband doesn’t care about any of them 😂 it’s rather normal

I must say Ryan made me come around a bit on the no holes in the wall thing when he talked about you wanting to change the rooms around every other month. 😀 On previous videos i was one of those people who commented that a few holes in the wall didn't matter and you should just go ahead with drilling them and fill them up if you wanted to sell the house or something. But i'm more of a "ah this set up looks kinda nice lets keep it like this forever" person so my plant holes in the walls and celing are pretty permanent. 💚 never thought ryan was not supporting though. he seems like a good dude. I just kind a figured you were being to hard on yourself and you deserve everything that's gonna make you happy! lots of love for both of you!

You are so right Harli, you don’t both have to like the same things - my hubby is not a plant lover but that doesn’t stop me from getting plants lol I do try to be respectful of his space too and it works for us! I GOT SO EXCITED FOR THE HOLE IN THE WALL DEBATE. I'm a wife, a plant lover, and I own and operate a painting contracting company so I. HAVE. OPINIONS. I get where Ryan is coming from, if you constantly move things around and change the set up plus you plan on selling the house soon then yeah I'm totally Team No Holes. However, Harli isn't too far off with the toothpaste suggestion. The easiest way to cleanly fill nail holes (assuming you didn't destroy the wall with removal and you hit a stud and didn't need drywall anchors) is to use a tiny amount of caulking and then paint. Ryan is right that unless you paint the entire wall you will ALWAYS see freshly painted patches. Even using the same sheen of paint, you'll still see a difference due to fading from touch and sunlight. The best way is caulk the holes and paint the entire wall. Personally, I've been a follower of Harli's for a while now and I'd need all my fingers and toes to count the number of times she has changed the set up. I think the best way to go about it is using command strips u less you can commit to a permanent hanging solution with a decorative hook in the ceiling.

Hi Ryan, Hi Harli, Ryan, first Congratulations Congratulations, Congratulations!!! For so many things. Please Ryan ignore the plant people who don't understand that you don't have to be IN LOVE with plants as your wife does. I apologize for their insensitivity towards you. You guys are a beautiful couple. You can work things out. Harli, remember, you've heard your husband where plants are concerned. He takes your plant life well, yes. But, do your best to sweeten his heart towards you by limiting your plant life in a way he can REALLY appreciate. Example, seriously limit plants around your bedroom. And you'll see how he'll HEAR YOU and be more conscious about bringing shoes into the home. I dig that vibe. Two youngn"s. I get it. Help each other be deeper about understanding of each others limitations. I do hope you guys will last forever and be so mindful of each others hearts. Take care now and Happy Holidays to yall and a good New Year to you all. Matthew 5:7,9
