I haven't shot this film. I almost always overexpose color negative film, but I was really surprised to see the results rated at 100. Kudos to Harman for getting into the color game, but I can see it's still in the development phase!

Yes! It’s not the best film. But I keep in mind. It’s developed by two students and it’s their first film. And I really hope they are hooked on making more film. And maybe come back every 5 years with a small specialized run of this film. Just for the heck to see where they came from.

I’ll probably shoot this film just to support the venture. As far as the film goes? It looks like expired film and I don’t shoot expired film because processing is too expensive.

Man wished I had watched this before purchasing 2 rolls 😅 they had a buy 4 get 1 free offer over at AWonderland but only a few types of rolls were eligible so thought would give em a try…

Yeah it’s a tricky one! I’d probably shoot it at 160 and if you can request the type of scans at the lab you send it to, see if they can scan it on a Noritsu if they give the option. I’ve seen noritsu scanners able to pull out some more usable results.

How were these scanned? I've had much better results using a plustek 8200i ai.

@@danieljimenez1989 that’s what I used. With silver fast and the normal settings for Negafix. You might be able to get better results playing around with NLP.

I shot a roll of this film in Japan and maybe it’s just my scanner having a hard time choosing a color profile, but almost all the pictures came out horrible. Very grainy and awful colors especially skin tones. A few photos came out alright but most of them were trash

I find it looks best when scanned as a negative, and edited yourself later

Don't forget that the saturation of different colors is uneven, in that while some (red; blue) are highly saturated, others are not. This film is unacceptable on so many different levels that it would be dismissed with derision and without a second thought if it were not made by Harmon/Ilford. Why it is being treated as something other than the expensive joke or insult to film users that it is? It is suggested that Harmon/Ilford needs to sell a production run of this film in order to afford to further its development. If Ilford is in such poor a financial condition that it is compelled to market this crap to break even, then it should settle for making excellent B&W films and admit that color is beyond its ability.

While I agree to a certain extent, them abandoning color film would be horrible for the industry. Fuji is gone and Kodak is unreliable. Another player on the market would help us all

@@mstrshkbrnnn1999 I'd rather see a solid B&W film producer than watch Harmon/Ilford file bankruptcy one more time and end up repackaging ORWE films.
