Had a rossignol 2016 gc last night and the last glass today. Around $70 us. It was fantastic.

Well sourced, that's a good price for a very good wine and great to see you enjoying it ! Top video as always thank you Sir !

Thanks David, the price really was a nice surprise! Especially as the only other Gevrey Chambertin on their list was Joseph Roty's 2020 at £75.90. That felt quite overpriced to me, Lay and Wheeler are offering that for £49.10.

Tweedy, would be great if you give us your top 5 from what you have tasted so far this year?

Thanks, good idea! Time is running out a bit now but if I get a chance I like the sounds of doing a review of 2024... Although I guess many of those wines won't be available any more!

Always enjoy your wine vlog, always red? Do you ever stray into white, although with Christmas approaching a fizz!!

Sorry probably a bit late to reply now! No I barely ever drink (still) white wines, it's just not a style I've ever warmed to much. I do like sparkling though - English sparkling. I have a whole other channel for that: youtube.com/@EnglishSparklingWine

do you ever do white Burgundy?

No I've never been particularly into still Chardonnay, in fact I hardly ever drink still white wines at all. I do like Chardonnay in sparkling wines though.

I prefer my red burgundy on the younger side of their drinking window
