just a question. Your hard drive failed, didn't you make a backup? I don't do it either but i was just wondering.

I did have some of it backed up on an external drive, but I wasn't consistently backing my projects up. Big mistake on my part..

well at least you have some of it backud up, but you have the same thing what many others have, many people backup thair stuff but only once in a while so they don't have their most recent files backud up. At least your doing better then i am, i don't back up anything XD Wiat, have you tried a recovery, sometimes you might be lucky enough to get some files back

***** The hard drive makes a clicking sound and wont boot up. I'm thinking about taking it in somewhere to see if a professional can get the files off for me. From now on I back up everything. :P

I could do it for you if i could get to you XD, i am still learning the IT trade but i run my intership at a computer store and i have made dozens of backups allready, but you could also, (maybe it safes money) buy a external hard drive case for 3.5 or 2.5 inch drives and connect it to your pc or laptop, that way it might also work because proffesionals can ask a lot of money sometimes XD. If i could do it for you i would have done it for free ^^ XD (in case you don't know, 3.5 inch is for pc and 2.5 inch is for laptops)
