can wipe with Hydrogen peroxide which strong disinfectant and later wipe it with clean water. Dentists usually use Hydrogen peroxide for loosening plaque

Sir, the best method I believe is to clean the harmonica with water in upside down position (mouth piece in down position so that water doesn't enter into the reeds). I apply running water with hand on the mouth piece after playing and then shake it to remove any water droplets. Once in a month or so I remove the mouth piece and clean it with tooth brush with light application of tooth paste and rinse it repeatedly. The mouth piece sparkles and traces of deposited saliva are removed. The slider also moves very smoothly.
