Sir obviously you are not aware and not deeply entrenched in the carnatic world. I have heard so many stories about Dr.S.Ramanathan from my uncle G.V.Sankar who was a carnatic vocal accompaniment to Mr.T.M.Thiagarajan. Whatever Dr.Sowmya says i can vouch for, Dr.Ramanathan had countless children learning in his house and his upanayasaam on ramayana was very famous. He is truly a great soul
