The opening notes really remind me of the BotW trailer music (the dramatic section). I love how it breathes new life into the source material. Some nice variations on Samus' theme too in there :3 Great job man

This is great! I especially love the parts that are true to the original track. This was a real highlight of the album for me, and taps into an emotional space the Metroid franchise is often afraid of. What's amazing is that they did this track in the scariest game in Metroid history!! And they made it work, too, by the power of its juxtaposition with the eerie tracks. The original Game Boy Metroid II soundtrack is the most underrated one in the franchise, and I wish it had gotten more love in the album. But you did good by it here!! Thanks for the tune! Would love to hear the earlier version of it that you mentioned in the description.
