I'm glad I found this. I use red light therapy and have for years - I spend a lot of time in my pool in Dallas, and I take 50000iu of vitamin D twice a month. I just purchased Mitolux so I can increase to the right level of D

how has your experience been so far using it?
@davemTX2023
@davemTX2023 Ай бұрын
@@tommylong-p9d it’s really easy to use - I started using the D Minder app and I am getting out in the pool to get sun every day. In 5 min it generates 4000 out of vitamin D that your own body makes. I am taking monthly blood tests to monitor my D levels.

@@davemTX2023 but how have you felt after using the Mitolux? Better mood or more energy?

@@tommylong-p9d I made several changes - I started using D Minder App, I use RLT every morning and then will try and spend 20 minutes in the sun to get some vitamin D as well as using Mitolux. I had my D levels tested about two weeks after starting and my levels were 68 which is good. I also take a supplement when I don’t get any sun. My next test is next week and I will see where my levels are. D Minder estimates 80 ng/ml. So if I am getting the 7K ius per day from Mitolux (4000), the sun (1500-2000) and or supplements ( take only when not in sun) it should be close to 80. I definitely fell more energy, I am working out daily, sleeping very well (use a sleep tracker) and my wife says my skin looks healthier. So I will confirm my D levels when I get those results back after a month of use.

100% agree with the seed oils! And the optimal vitamin D level. When I first moved to Arizona from Washington state I stopped taking my vitamin D because I thought I was in a sunshine state! My vitamin D levels were only 39 after 2 years of being here because I iced so much sunscreen and covered my body!

this device has no uva, ?? i thought we need both uva and avb in balance to stimulate 7 dehydrocholesterol protein into cholecalciferol

I went to the company website. The Mitolux panel lacks UVA. That is intentional. The stated purpose is to avoid the harm of UVA. But it would have the unintended effect of also missing the benefits of UVA. A key role of UVA is in moderating the production of hormones and the endocrine system.
