Another brilliant podcast. Every time I am looking into an issue you do a podcast. For the past few months I have been exploring footwear. I am convinced my bad bunion and overlapping toes contributes to what are labelled as part of my MS symptoms. I have an appointment with an orthopaedic consultant on Tuesday to sort out surgery. I will cancel this now and try 12 month with these shoes and foot exercises and reflexology.

Oh wow - definitely circle back and let me know how you do - depending on how bad the bunions are I'm not sure that the shoes can help but you will know pretty quickly. That said, should you decide to move forward with the surgery perhaps they could be helpful after you've recovered - all the best!! 🙏

To break down the stones, do you think it would be better to take Tudca after a meal or at night on an empty stomach?
@nathalieniddam9630
@nathalieniddam9630 2 күн бұрын
specifically to assist in dissolving stones I'd look at Malic Acid and a supplement called Chanca Piedra in addition to the Tudca. Tudca won't break them down as much as keep the bile flowing which should also be helpful. But when it comes to stones please be cautious and aware of any symptoms that could indicate a blockage of bile ducts - these need to be addressed medically and immediately.

Please remind people without gallbladders not to take ox bile with their meals. The stomach needs to acidify the food first. Waiting 2 to 3 hours after a meal will allow the stomach to do it's job, and then the ox bile can come in afterwards to do it's job. Timing is key for efficacy. 😊

Thymogen Alpha 1 or Thymosin Alpha 1? The latter is anyone who is not TH1 dominant. Thymogen Alpha 1 is a supplement that Dr Holtorf formulated that conatins two different immune Bioregulators - because of the way they work I believe that pretty much most if not all of us can benefit from it BUT there are always exceptions - if you decide to try it speak with your medical/health provider first especially if you have any immune imbalances at play

It must be the universe at work. I’ve been plant based for 8 yrs due to lipid issues. I’m 64 female 106lbs ( now that I’m exercising) was 98lb for year could not gain weight. Anyway I’ve been seeing all this info on the importance of protein in older adults so have been pounding it down. Then came across the EAA and ordered the KION Got them yesterday (thanks Nat for the referral) and now this show. Thank you thank you for the great content and helping to steer me in the right direction ❤❤ I’m cutting back on the protein powders and upping the EAAs 👍🏻
@xnoreq
@xnoreq 18 күн бұрын
Why? There are good vegan protein powders with complete amino acids profiles (which cannot be said for EAAs), that are highly digestible (90%+) and very low in fat and carbs. Two scoops plus all the protein from your meals should be plenty even if you're a bodybuilder. Adding EAAs is completely redundant and a waste of money.

The EAA's are a game changer!! Not that you necessarily want to throw the protein powders to the curb - I do believe they have their place as they also provide calories and other nutrients but for pure "building stimulus" this formula of EAA's has beautiful research behind it...thanks for your comment!!

@@xnoreq did you actually listen to the episode? @@nathalieniddam9630 Yes, I listened to the episode. To be honest, it's very shallow on anything science but has some sections that you have to agree should be labeled "advertisement." One of the few honest guys in the industry, Layne Norton, stopped selling EAAs a while ago because he looked at latest science and could not find any justification to keep selling them because he's also selling isolated protein powders. 60+ year old females in general will have a hard time gaining muscle. Most important thing is going to be eating enough calories in a balanced diet, eat 3 meals each high in protein, exercise hard and sleep well. Unless you are obese, it should be easy for you to gain weight by eating more. Up calories by 500 kcal. If that does not work by another 500 kcal, and so on..
