If I didn't have to be low-carb for my health then believe me; I would be eat all the pasta :( Jackson always talks about his sensitive stomach and digestive system so I think he's cut carbs due to health reasons too. Being carb-sensitive sucks but what doesn't suck is how your body functions and feels normal when eating less carbs. Everyone's metabolism is different but I'm glad he has found what works for him. (It also looks like he's low-fat so I hope he eats a lot of protein because he needs to get his energy from somewhere)

Ayy not to be that one comment, but im totally gonna be that one comment It's better to eat balanced meals and move around as much as you can. It's totally fine to fast for SHORT periods of time every week/few weeks and such, but definitely do not cut out carbs completely from your diet especially if you're doing any sort of endurance/aerobic exercise. It's better to just eat carbs than to snack on unhealthy candy loaded with sugar and nothing else. Brown rice or sweet potatoes are carbs but they have so many vitamins and minerals, they are not bad for you in moderation. Also definitely DO NOT skimp on sleep. No matter how kpop idols schedule their lives, it is not healthy to sleep for 4 hours every day and sometimes get 7 hours of sleep when "time permits". From a health standpoint, it is comparable to being a chain smoker and will shorten your life span by way of cardiovascular disease. Sleep and eating are the only two things that I really, really hate having to hear in Jackson's interviews honestly. I love Jackson, but the way he talks about how he eats and sleeps goes against everything I've learned about taking care of your body, I can't condone it. I know he doesn't have much of a choice because it's culture in South Korea to pretty much be overworked and underfed to maintain a "slim" figure, but (for you and anyone reading this comment) please take care of yourself properly and don't do any extreme dieting for extended periods of time just because idols do them.

His diet is balanced for a diet he basically diets all year he’s a celebrity and he has to keep his weight the same almost all year if you watch other videos of him eating he eats a lot at least he doesn’t stave himself like other Kpop artists or at least he doesn’t eat 1 meal a day consisting of a sweet potato. It doesn't seem too harsh, smoothie and salad for breakfast and lunch, snacking on more sugar dense food and then a meat heavy meal in the evening, that's hitting every requirement really as there will inevitably be some carbohydrate in the veg and with the meat. For an idol it's pretty relaxed tbh. I try to eat very similarly (only with vegetarian equivalent) and it's very sustainable.
