Thanks for this video ! don't you fear collecting dirt from the rear diffuser and scratch the car paint while washing with the same mitten ? I have a 458 and always wonder what's the best way to make sure I don't leave any marks on the paint... I usually have another mitten for the wheels and under the car. always learning I guess :)
@HarpersCarDetailing23 күн бұрын
They are quite fiddly to work on with all the intricate areas. I’d carry on with the multiple mitts, it will help keep the risk of marring the finish limited.

Superb detail. Question - Why not use a battery powered leaf blower to move the majority of the water off the car after rinsing? Gets water out of all the tight areas and crevices that a drying towel will not achieve.

WOW! That end shot looks amazing, the paint looks like liquid! Do you find it satisfying seeing the end result like that after all the hours you work on the cars? Little request, can we see you return to some of these cars you ceramic coat to clean them? Show us the beading and I'm particularly interested in seeing you do maintenance/rejuvination of them, e.g. seeing a 'dead' panel, spraying iron remover on them (or other if thats not the thing to do) and bringing it back to life. I think that would be really interesting, coupled with your overlaid thought process of how to tackle the problem, as something in addition to the more 'typical' details you usually film!
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! Yeah it’s always great seeing the end result! I have a video of a Range Rover I coated a couple of years ago with a rejuvenation detail. Hopefully that will be what you are after 👍🏼 kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2bWZomlp7mkm6M
@AM4N182 жыл бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing Oh yeah, I think I did catch that one. I just meant more generally it would be nice to see you revisit some of the cars you did your major details on and instead see you do one of your 'maintenance' details (though I know it depends on the clients). E.g. would be cool to see this 458 again, see how the coating is doing, we get to see you do your thing on a car you've done the bulk of work on previously, perhaps your technique might change on certain things now that it has a coating (?). Just a suggestion as something a little different here and there to your full on correction videos thats all.

Great video. Thank you! Please may I ask what Ceramic Coating you used on this Ferrari. The finish was amazing 👌
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Murph. I used Carpro Cquatz Uk 👍🏼 It’s all about the prep work behind the coating that makes it look great. The coating does finish it off though 👌🏼

Why do you use a rar remover to remove een sillicone based tire dressing? Are you a fan of sillicone based tire dressings?
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
It was a hand car wash nasty silicone dressing that stains everything. If I used the wheel brush it would put a black oily residue all over it which would transfer to the wheel and make it a pain to clean. You then have to clean your brushes out with a tar remover or solvent. It’s not good for the tyre either
@fluzzerr2 жыл бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing So you don't recommend using sillicone based tire dressings at all?
