Very nice result on a very nice car. Lovely colour! Unrelated question but i am looking for something to dislodge dirt from interior carpets and also dry the nooks and crannies on my car. Between a car blow dryer or an air compressor which would be the better option?

Always learning from you mate👍 as a beginner to machine polishing what one would you recommend to buy, I don’t have a budget!
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks 👍🏼 I would probably go with a Shinemate ex620 5 inch. Or a vertool forced rotation machine polisher. The first one is a DA so oscillates and spins freely, whereas the Vertool oscillates but spins mechanically so won’t stop (similar to a rotary). 👍🏼

Hey, question. Why they say that microfiber towels make little micro scratches? Why everyone not use a Chamois for sample??
@HarpersCarDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Who says microfibre scratches? Chamois tends to be stiff and also flat, so doesn’t absorb anything thanks potentially left behind on the surface so picks it up and scratches the paint
@dondiablo55832 жыл бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing yes thats what I thought to indeed but I've seen some tests where someone tests several microfibre cloths on a freshly polished hood, testing with a little more pressure on the cloth and a little less pressure. Yes, it is true that a chamois absorbs less water, but you can always squeeze it, for example

@HarpersCarDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Why’s that, as the new car needed polishing as it was covered in marks
@jferreira3393 жыл бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing - Hi! The criticism is not for you who did an excellent job, but rather on the concept of polishing a new car; it may be a precious of mine, but polishing removes protection (paint), if every time we see marks and go to polish, any day we have steel mirroring ! Car producers should be able to deliver a car without these defects (especially in premium segment)
