2,7,9 and 10 still exist after Wafarin but since Gamma Glutamyl Carboxylase is no longer working, those factors cannot create the two carboxylic groups attaches to a positive Calcium to interact with the negatively charged outside of platelets.

Heparin ACTIVATES ATIII, which inhibits: 2,9,10a,11,12. LMWHeparin only INHIBITS Xa!!!! Thanks for the awesome videos.

Not quite true.. LMWH inhibits both Xa and IIa (the ratio of inhibition depends on the type of heparin), while fondaparinux inhibits only Xa. Cheers
