Hi there. May I ask why the neck is held to the body by string tension as opposed to being glued? Nice harp, by the way. Edit: spelling

Glue is not needed since strings apply over 1000 lb of force holding the joints together. Also, repairing the harp is significantly easier if the neck and pillar to soundbox are not glued. Just de-stringing separates everything. My current harp needs several string holes in the soundboard repaired. As a glued assembly, that work is nearly impossible since the damaged holes are at the short strings.
