Stonehenge, Concerts + Airport Security! UK Tour Vlog (Part 3) Harp Twins

We had the opportunity to complete our first ever UK tour… and what a dream it was! 6 out of 6 shows were completely SOLD OUT! We first announced that we were coming to the UK only 3 weeks before our first show and we are so honored that our incredible UK supporters came on such short notice to sell out every single show. Plus, we can’t forget some incredible fans who traveled from Germany, Scotland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Poland just to see one of our UK concerts! That you all from the bottom of our hearts!
And of course, we did a lot more than just perform while in the UK… we filmed several music videos, appeared on National Television, explored ruins, did some sightseeing at breathtaking locations, and now we want to return for more! We did quite a bit of filming on our phone while there and wanted to share some of our experiences with all of you! We hope you enjoy our UK Tour Vlog Part 3! The country lanes have a speed limit of 60mph. The problem being you turn a bend and come across a tractor. Leaves on the road are a pain the arse and you have to keep your eye open for people on horses. Other than that it is good fun.

Little history for ya... During World War 2 the American and British pilots returning from missions never really felt a safe return until they saw and flew over the White Cliffs and then they knew they would be "home" and on the ground in a very short time. They especially liked that sight when their planes were damaged because they knew even if they had to bail out or crash land they would still be safe and could make it back to base.

The sound is usually great in churches. :) :) It was not a church service or religious event. We have performed in "churches" many times. Some are still used as churches, some have been de-sanctified and are used for community events. Some events have been totally secular (for example, concert series) and some have been church sponsored (for example fundraisers for meals to feed the needy in the community). Blessings, x2

Using churches for such musical events is very common here in Canada too. Some reasons are: Suitable size of venue, sound quality, the ambiance, lower price than the big famous venues, and shorter notice for booking required.

Good evening ladies, and congrats on the success of your UK trip. =) I had an idea about a song you two could re-create, based on a very old computer game I used to play, called Firelord. It was a medieval-type combat game, and the theme music really set the tone for the whole game. I searched for years trying to find the name of this song, being unable to recall the name of the game. One day I somehow found it, and it's been on my MP3 player ever since. Krister Nielsen did a recreation of this using flute, harpsichord and harp (I think), and that really captures the essence of this song being a medieval-type melody, it feels like you're listening to it in 1300AD. =) It's the most accurate representation of the original song, but there are others like Glyn R Brown's orchestral version, which kind of takes away from the feel of the tune. Anyway if you'd be interested in giving that song a whirl, I'd be overjoyed to hear you two play it. I figured you'd love this since you're into old stuff like castle ruins and whatnot, so why not have a song in the style of that era. If you search for the artist(s) mentioned and "Firelord" you should be able to find it for free download. I'd love to hear it from your strings. Have a great one from Down Under. :)

I think that because Ive listened to other harpests and there mechanics are good they sound good. Then I play the Harp sisters music and its WOW! It has the WOW factor I'll call it.

Excellent video again. Great to see you visiting the Seven Sisters. I'm from near London and many years ago I walked the full length of the Seven Sisters along the top of the cliffs. and down into Eastbourne, about 10 miles. There was a large group of us and it was an amazing day. Well worth doing.
