And when she was little a terrible man in a general store threw a scale weight at her hitting her in the head. Thereafter she would black out. Sometimes it actually happened on nights she was leading slaves to freedom. They’d have to hide and wait till she regained consciousness. The hardships she endured and her courage are incredible. I had no idea about this! What a beautiful place she had, and what an amazing human being she was! I’ve always respected her, even though I’m white, for all that she did, and am grateful that this place has been cared for in her memory. Definitely adding this to my bucket list for sure!

One of my favorite quotes from her "I had reasoned this one in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.

She's my guardian angel I've been told. She watches over me and has adopted me as one of her own. I really want to visit her home. Due to COVID might not be able to this summer. I do know I'd become emotional she's someone I can't wait to meet in the afterlife

I am in England and its going to be in the cards for me also. I have a little daughter, i just need to find hotels not far from there . I like that BHM month niche stories are being recommended to me all year round . I worked so hard to mold my main page to the image of our ancestors , there is soul and melanin on 90% of my recommendations.
