I just ordered the 1/7 twist m16a1 and the DMR …now the week long wait for the UPS man to bring my baby’s home ..I had an uncle who was a serous collector of all things American ,Winchester,Colt ,Springfield and H&R ..he had a collection of firearms that would have blown most people’s minds..he past a few years back,he left me a few but left the rest to his grandson he was a Korean War veteran and John Wayne western fan …I think he would have loved to see the two I’m picking up..hopefully he’s watching down from where ever he’s at now …can’t wait !!!

Many years ago one of my uncles worked for nuke plant. Got to shoot his carbine. If DOE had a price I would have ordered it, even if I had to drive to bank. Just makes old memories pop

At Ft. Hood post maintenance in 1975-6 the H&Rs and Colts were not considered as reliable and well made as the General Motors built M-16A1s.
