Harris Chain: Clifford Pirch catches possibly biggest bass of 2022 season

Clifford Pirch has been on big bass all week at the Harris Chain and the same is true on Day 3. Pirch landed this giant Florida bass that he believes is a guaranteed 10 pounder. If that is true, its the biggest bass this week and of the 2022 season so far. #bassmaster #fishing #harrischain

There are more,bigger,healthier bass in all of our lakes now more than ever,with more people fishing than ever. Catching fish off beds doesn't hurt anything. For that kind of prize money I'd be all over it if I could.

Do you think if you pick large females off of their beds and then weigh them in potentially miles from said bed they will swim all the way back and resume spawning

@@melissamessmer6544 I think there's been some studies that taking fish off a bed and released in a different location, the fish most times will start the spawn process in the new location... haven't read much into for some time so things could have changed and can't for sure say that's what happens

@@melissamessmer6544 No but another fish will take its place because the fish compete for the best nesting areas. The caught fish will find somewhere else to spawn. It will still spawn.
