I just picked up a St. Croix yesterday. Picked up the 7’3” Mojo Bass spinning rod. Paired it with the Diawa Fuego 3000. Went out yesterday afternoon and caught my first fish on it. It felt absolutely amazing. Happy with the purchase for sure.

Wow just seeing this out of the box kzbin.infoUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

+Rob “WatchTheBomb” S when a bass weighs over 5 pounds it can seriously injure them. Every single bass I catch out of my local ponds have loose, floppy jaws, an indication that their jaws are stretched out pass capacity. The point is you shouldn't do it. I don't get why people have such a hard time excepting the fact that they shouldn't hold bass a certain way.
@nicholasczaja1659

Just a tip on holding fish by the lip, you can easily break their jaw by holding it like at 10:00, just make sure to have a support hand or hold your hand straight up over the fish. They can't feed properly once their jaw breaks

A little trick when taking pictures of your fish… Never hold it sideways, or up close… Always hold the Bass with one hand on the lip, hold it out straight in front of you and the camera man should be on his knees filming up, a couple feet away… Trust me, it is the best way to show how large the Bass is… 👍👍👍👍

Wow, incredible! Im glad you took the high road and released the fish. BTW, most decent bait and tackle shops will have an IGFA certified scale. You also need to have 50 feet or so of the line that you used to catch the fish. This is so they can test for line strength as some records have line strength associated with them. And you should take pictures from different angles with an object to compare with the fish. Also take measurements, length and girth. Awesome fish.
@TrueHelpTV
@TrueHelpTV Жыл бұрын
I no longer recognize igfa, if they wont accept 3 seperate scales on film, then they are only in it for the money "buy my stuff for it to count" and for those reasons, IGFA can pack sand. This man has/had the world record, end of story; full stop.

I'm a devoted carp fisherman from the UK. You guys have shit loads of mega uncaught carp over there. Making the US probably rhe best destination for carp fishing, shame you guys view them as trash fish. Maybe its because you have so much more variety in what you can fish for. Catching carp in the UK can be pretty hard cause they've all been caught before and are pretty wise when it comes to not falling for our rigs and baits etc. If I was younger and healthier I would definitely head over their, as your fish and lakes are just stunningly beautiful. Great fishing and video btw. All the best from the UK.

They need to change the rules to accommodate our good catch and release mindset. Why should we have to kill a record fish to get a record. We need those monster fish reproducing not sitting on a wall so someone can look at it and wonder if it's real or fake. It's real when they catch one, and hopefully put it back.

Caught an 8 pounder when I was 15 at a local lake south of there. It was a thrill. Used a Hula Popper at sunset. I'm now 70 and fished all my life. Never topped that 8 pounder. Had one bigger at the boat but it got off. 55 years and still trying.

Wild animals don’t naturally eat their self obese. What wild animal have you seen obese? Are trout and bass just naturally in those Northern California lakes? I don’t know. However, my hypothesis is that they were put together by a human

I can't believe someone who fishes often wouldn't know that's a stupid way of holding a fish. You're making the fish's jaw support the weight on its entire body. Imagine what would happen if someone picked you up that way. You should never, ever move a fish off vertical without supporting its weight with your other hand. Half of all released fish die because people are too lazy, or too ignorant, to handle them properly. And if you really want to call yourself a sportsman, dump the electronics and actually learn how to fish. All you're doing is reeling in fish, and you're even doing that with a rod and reel and line big enough to haul a telephone pole out of the water. The word "sportsman" should mean something, but you apparently have no idea what that meaning is. It means having respect for the animal you're trying to catch or kill, and it means giving that animal a reasonable chance of beating you. It doesn't mean abusing the animal, it doesn't mean using electronics to find that animal, and it doesn't mean using tools that overwhelm the animal.

he isnt wrong. i always try totreat fish with as much respect as possible. even if im going to eat the fish i dont want to cause them too much pain. i cant stand people who fillet fish whilst still consciouse. My father, brother and my self have a club we use to knock fish out. yes it may sound cruel but its better than letting them suffocate in the live well.

+Turd Cutter how is he being a douche? He cares about the livelihood of the bass. The way these guys were holding some of the bass can dislocate their jaw, and while you can open and close it with your hand before you release them the bass may never be able move its jaw again and die! You're supposed to hold it with its body hanging straight down and if not then put support under its belly with your other hand
