Thank you so much. I've been watching your videos many times. From sydney. I'm thinking of moving my family to Perth

I don't think you'll regret that decision and you can get a great house here for a cheaper price than you would pay in Sydney.

It’s not easy to decide on buying a house in a very special area, slowly is the safe journey. We all make mistakes. Slowly and carefully is the journey. Nifty J.

Looks like a ok suburb, I guess the parks are needed 4 the lack in back yard & community use. Roads look different in some street's. Shame about the Cladding-the Eastly winds( this side of Perth) recently may have loosened them. More insurance claim's. Another Great Video you two👍

Thank you. You're right about the need for parks with the smaller blocks of land.

Hi guys, yes Harrisdale is not a bad suburb. Certainly some nice homes and they have a great school called Carey College. The Bunnings in Harrisdale is excellent, always well stocked and friendly staff. The shopping centre is good too, one of the better Woolworths in Perth - clean, well stocked also. Take care in this heat, will wait for the next video. Best wishes, Lyndall 😁

Prices in perth are ridiculous 😢

We totally agree. Some houses are way over-priced or people are just trying their luck.

I'm concerned about all these sprawling low density suburbs far from the CBD. Do they even have the tax revenue from local rate payers to maintain, repair, and provide upkeep on any of the things local government is responsible for. It's all good for the first 20 or 30 years, but eventually things break. It would be silly to plop apartments in a place like this without a train line, local jobs, or anything to do for fun. Once again newer developments separate housing and commercial uses. Older places like Fremantle, Leederville, Vic Park and others do a better job in this regard. We have a lot of same same sprawling dull suburbs in Perth. I would love to see a new development in WA that actually tries to create a busy and vibrant mixed use environment. We could do it with older places. But now town planners are horrified to put a cafe near a house, or a store below low rise apartments. Bring the main street back, bring mixed use development back. Sorry about the rant on your video mate. It's frustrating as a prospective first home buyer in 2025 to realise that new suburbs are going up, but none of them are nice places. The beach can compensate for bad development in coastal suburbs. But there is almost nothing redeeming about this area.

We totally agree with you and we do appreciate a good rant - and yours is spot on. Sinagra is a good example of what you are talking about - they don't have public transport, schools, shops or anything other than houses and a few parks. We have done a video on it if you want to check it out. They are building new suburbs without any heart & soul.
