Filip The Mixer They’d better do Episode X. They need to put the High Republic trilogy on hold, so the mess created at the end of TROS can be fixed
@marmur29094 жыл бұрын
@@JohnnyCashFanatic I liked the sequel trilogy. Sure, it had parts in it that were...questionable (Looking at you, Rose!!), but I don't know, I grew up to enjoy what I get and not complain about it. The ending of TROS felt satisfying for me, but Palpatine's return was not justified by the previous two movies at all and that was what shocked me the most, that they brought him back with little to no explanation. Episode X would be great and give us a glimpse of what happened to Rey. Because...her calling herself a Skywalker was kinda meh. Rather than put on a fake last name, she should have embraced being a Palpatine

I kinda feel bad for Jimmy, Harrison was clearly making it super difficult for Jimmy to interview him but it still made for a super funny interview. It’s interesting seeing how being a talk show host sometimes requires blatantly desperately trying to get the guest (who is a huge beloved star) to cooperate with every politeness possible and avoiding offending them while asking the questions everyone wants to know while that guest may unexpectedly be tired or not in the best mood or not at all keen talking about that topic and the host has to scramble to keep it interesting and please everyone and just sweat hard and blatantly in front of everyone as the mediator between the star and the crowd. Such a tough job and not always glorious at all! It takes a special person to do that like wow. They get paid a lot but wow the pressure and embarrassing moments I just can’t imagine. I would not want that job! Jimmy and Conan and Craig Ferguson and Steven Colbert are all awesome at their jobs! 💞💞💞💞Kimmel sucks.

What a boy.. Thing with Harrison is, I reckon, is that he’s in a permanent state of utter bewilderment at how vast swathes of the human race hang so much fawning importance on a silly space movie he made(for work) over 40 years ago. I suspect he’s erudite enough to be aware of genuine high cultured art and accomplishment to find the whole thing creepily deranged, and unlike the majority of self-important narcissists one tends to see on these ‘shows’, he doesn’t play the make-believe of it all, just wryly plays along with the whole pantomime of it all. It’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage..
@thehydronator30214 жыл бұрын
that's pretty much how it is from his perspective yeh, mainly cos as an actor han solo wasn't a particularly challenging part to play so the reverence for the character is kind of lost on him when characters like Indiana jones had more depth for him in his work.
@TheRealmOfTF4 жыл бұрын
Yeah okay, how about you come down from your high horse, O' Great and Wise One, and stop acting like a Walmart Shakespeare. Saying big words and using complex sentences whilst insulting a piece of work that means a lot to a lot of people doesn't make you an intellectual, it makes you an asshole.

Let's face it. Harrison Ford is a way overrated arrogant twat. He's basically played the same obnoxious Han Solo persona part for the 5 thousand years he's been in around. I've enjoyed his romping action films, but it ain't Shakespeare: and that can be tedious crap too.
@philosopher00762 жыл бұрын
Oh shut tf up cornball. He's not arrogant nor a twat. Being " arrogant " is his schtick. Just like being ultra grumpy is his schtick. This is his talk show norm. In reality, he's very generous, works at an LA soup kitchen serving homeless people every year as well as doing so at an event he has with his restaurant owner and chef, son Ben, where they open the restaurant for homeless people to eat great meals on holidays, like Thanksgiving, etc. He has given millions and millions to charities, medical and environmental and traveled the world speaking and learning and trying to fight and help the destruction of rainforests and other issues regarding displaced wildlife and paying for facilities and equipment and man power to relocate such animals, like gorillas etc. He has a conservation organization and is also the director of the US aviation education foundation. He has further flown hundreds of children himself, on his planes to show and help them understand the beauty of flying which they have shown interest in at young ages. He flew supplies in his plane to Haiti when they had the devastating earthquake there and spent two weeks there working, distributing boxes of supplies to people in need. He has assisted doctors without borders and twice in different years rescued several stranded and also a lost mountain climber from death in Wyoming, flying his own helicopter up in precarious high, rocky cliffs in horrific snowy weather to do so. He's sacrificed his body, health for his acting trade, having numerous serious injuries including broken ribs, concussions, twice broken his legs, several herniated discs, back surgery, detached leg ligament surgeries, knee surgeries from falling off horses doing stunts, lost all his front teeth in a prop accident, broken elbow, ripped shoulder tendons and etc , etc. A malfunctioning door on a movie set almost killed him and he escaped with a leg broken in two places. His World War 2 era prop plane's engine died right after take off several years back and he didn't panick and in 15 seconds had to act to try and get it down without dying or killing people on the ground. In seconds he maneuvered the plane between a housing complex, large trees and crash landed doing basically a belly flop with the plane on a golf course avoiding hitting people who were very nearby. He broke his collar bone, smashed cervical discs and lower lumbar discs, crushed his ankle and broke his hip in the crash, but survived at 70 or so years old and hurt no one on the ground. He's a serious conservationist who cares about the planet we live on and tries to help people in need and gives a boatload of money to many charities. I could go on and on with much more of his philanthropy. You apparently know nothing of the guy and mindlessly label him an, "arrogant twat" because you see a little bit of his talk show antics he goofs around on for laughs with comedy hosts? Get a clue and don't judge people so readily. Not a good habit Einstein.
