@@edipisreks5535 So, is it that Tudors are stupidly thick just for the sake of it? Does it create slab-sided hockey puck cases deliberately to reduce demand or something, or is it simply perverse design language? 🤔 Very strange. It certainly would explain why there’re so many used Tudors for sale in the usual places.

The thickness is fine for a chronograph, it’s just that the slab design on the mid case makes it look even thicker. It’s the one aspect that I don’t like with Tudor designs. They finally got it right with the Black Bay 54 by slimming the mid case and I think they should keep that trend going on future watches.

I know it seems counterintuitive but like a screw down crown the pushers don't improve the water resistance. Which means you can leave these screw down pushers open. And use it like a regular chrono. It is just a security in order to not push them underwater. You can live your daily life with them open. It won't decrease the water resistance. Especially a modern watch with 200m.

Had one but sold it because I couldn’t get over the thickness. But it’s a kick ass watch. If they come out with a thinner version, I’ll be all over it.

Generally the concensus is we wish it was smaller. Nice to hear about the practicalities of the pushers. I've had the 58 which fitted very well, but, now i have the ceramic which is gorgeous, but, slightly large for my 6 3/4 inch wrist. Once again the rubber/ leather strap doesn't do it any favours so I'm looking for an alternative and those Artem straps look great!

There's thousands of cronos to choose from,Tudor won't have any trouble selling these. It has a great movement that's found in much more expensive watches,plus it has a date plus it has deeper dive capabilities..

My wife bought this for our 5th wedding anniversary and I really like it except for the 45 minute totalizar . If I am timing a run, a swim, a gym workout or grilling burgers or steak is fine but something over two laps on the 45 minutes counter I don’t trust my memory to the know the total time.

Can you not just leave the pushers unscrewed? So they can be used whenever. Then screw them down before swimming etc. or when they are unscrewed does that leave the watch vulnerable? I’d imagine not given majority of chronos are not screw down and still retain some level of useful WR for everyday wear.

Yes, you can leave them unscrewed as you noted. I own this watch and it’s a battle tank that fits my 8” wrist well.

Love it,had it a week. Can be hard to read but its so pretty i dont care. I have a 400$ Citizen Eco on now, when i go into a dim room this thing glows,its beautiful but i cherish my Panda more obviously.

Great review. I agree with your negative points on the watch. I think the snowflake hour hand makes the chronograph subdials illegible when the time is around 3:00 or 9:00. If I had this watch I would leave the screw down pushers unscrewed unless swimming. One thing I do appreciate about this watch is the fact that Tudor adds a silicone hairspring and free sprung balance to the amazing Breitling B01 movement.

FYI you can leave the pushers unscrewed, even while diving, as they there are not meant to increase the water resistance, but rather to prevent involuntary activation (which would indeed be a problem under water for practically any mechanical chronograph). But ye, if you leave them screwed in, you will have to go through the hassle of unscrewing them... 😅Just know that this pain is more self inflicted than a valid point of critique!

I own this and it’s my fav non-dress watch. To me, those complaining about the size and thickness miss the point of this watch. This is a man’s watch. A big beefy hunk of steel, particularly on the bracelet. If you want a dainty chrono, get a Daytona.

Apart from the thickness I dislike the font they have used all over this watch: Myriad, an Apple system font. Default, basically. Otherwise this version looks really good. The water resistance of 200m though: I’ve been told in several watch boutiques that even jumping into a pool can exceed the pressure of 100m. Not sure if only true for non-drew down crowns, but if you want to be on the safe side I guess it needs to be 200m

I have ten watches, some small,some thin some bigger too, I got this last week & love it but it's not without faults. It's a little hard to read at dusk. Other than that the movement B01 is used in very expensive Breitling watches.

If they change the bezel to ceramic and slim the watch a bit like 13 mm with 40 mm its an instant buy for me. The speedmaster is 42 and it looks much smaller in comparison in each dimension

Really? Cumbersome? Just leave it unscrewed full time if it bugs you that much. IMO It’s a great option to be able to lock it down. Try jumping in the water with the moon watch and then talk to me.

My wish list for this one is exactly why it just won’t happen: it’s Daytona territory. So when you know what unites those 2 brands, it becomes obvious. Not all auto Chrono are thick. The ones most people can access are.

I have a North Flag, a P01 and a Chrono, I tried all the last hype Longines during the last year and they were not even close to Tudor in term of quality and feeling on the wrist. The UltraChron for exemple, really cool watch, but the bracelet felt like cr*p. The legibility on a Zulu Spirit? - Nowhere near the light pit that is the P01...Tudor and Longines are not in the same league, in my opinion.
