My first set of tungsten darts was from Harrows and the same ones that Chas Barstow uses, 25g weight with which I had a 9 dart leg with.(180-177-144 checkout). I have ordered a set of NX90 26g and can't wait for the post to arrive. They look great as with all your videos. Keep it up and thank you.

Great review on a very nice and affordable set of darts! I agree completely that this set of darts needs a specialty point. I put specialty points on all my darts anyway.

I can't lie, these are probably a top 3-5 dart on my "I should pick these up" list every time I see them & have been for a while. Might finally pull the trigger on that sale, maybe even grab the soft-tips, same grip but a bit thinner.

My daughter plays that set of Darts she uses the trident nose cones on the points. My repointing tool is broken the screw that holds the point is stripped out.

There was a period where I hated d8 because I hit the 11 often, and i generally hate the 60 because my darts stand upright, so i opted for the t14 d14 route for the 70 Unorthodox but it worked for me

I got these darts yesterday. Not sure if it’s just me but these are much more difficult to get back out of the dart board compared to many others I’ve used?

The front of the barrel's concave curvature is what causes that sharp lip. Imagine a straight line touching the ends of the concave section and fill it in with 90% tungsten and these would be perfect.

Thanks world wide appreciate the review i like these darts .... i personally own the harrows razr straight barrel and i feel like the nx90 are along the same line with the boulbus version of the razr line. The razr parallel are actually my match ,(league winning ) darts wouldnt mind seeing what you thought about them maybe future review? ... thanks worldwide

Hi WWD, I saw some marks on the flights at the section when you hit a 180, are they created by the sharp lip of the darts during the throw? if so then these dart lips are very sharp.

Cool review as always!! The no lip gang is pretty big but between these and the Shards would you say it’s the grip level that differs? They look almost identical apart from the grip. Why wouldn’t they smooth that lip like the Shards..

Talking about deflections and damage. I've managed to slice one of my Condor Axe Std fights at the front. I've looked at the back of the other two to see it there was comparable damage on one of those to see where the contact was made and I can't really work it out but I took a lump out of the front. I can only think the front pretty much square on hit the back of one of the flights already in the board. Annoying...

My 21g NX90's arrived yesterday; I immediately swapped the points with the (discontinued) black Harrows Apex Saber points (#nolipgang). I'm really liking them - I'm throwing the NX90's and their 21g Harrows Shard siblings.

@@stevem9529 At my level of play (whichever is lower between 'novice and amateur' - and that's if you're being generous). They're actually quite consistent between the two. The feel isn't that different, though there is a slight difference. FWIW I throw US/quarter sized groups, but I have nearly zero control over where that group is. So at least I'm _consistently_ off the mark. But I wouldn't say my opinion is worth a whole lot other than to say I liked both the NX90 and Shard enough that I have two sets of each.

@@pariahzero thanks for that. I ordered the nx90s because i throw that shape the best with cheap brass darts. I hold the dart where the lip is and as soon as I ordered them i saw the shards that have a much smoother lip. Would have ordered them if i knew about them but thanks for that I'll probably do the same and pick up a set of both

Tried this set at a dartshop once. Really didn't like them at all. The grip on the darts really sticks into my skin. Feels the same as the Wolfram 97 darts from Harrows, also not a good match for me.

I bought target sync 01 darts put in k flex no2 and it's transformed my game hit 8 180s first time out with them..I can finally stop buying darts lol

I have these darts and can honestly say i dont have a problem with the lip as its so shallow, surely the bull nose type darts are gonna be much worse for destroying flights and bounce outs yet there generaly what you see pro players on tv using. I cant think if any who use a speciality point, i know aspinal used to use the target storm points but no longer does

Your darts must enter the board at a strange angle then? I used these darts for about 15 minutes in total and the flights are battered. It's honestly one of the worst lips I've seen. i.ibb.co/WfF4DF8/20240424-135949.jpg I have year old flights that look better than this.

I wasn't a fan of the stock set up at all. I suspect with a little fine tuning, maybe some one piecestem/flights and new points they would fly a little straighter

@ILikeCheesesticks Shipping is not the problem so much as US customs. For example, mid-March, shipping took a couple days, but the package was stuck in US customs for many weeks. I'd assume they were still digging through the backlog from the surge in shipping over the holidays. (Imagine paying serious money for express shipping... only to have it sit in customs for weeks - that *is* a thing.)
