He's trying to force his father to intervene in the RAVEC appeal. This is a direct appeal from the appeals court, he's already appealed the original decision, that was the last time he was in court with this case, the judge told him his chance of being successful was almost non-existent. But I would say that it is imperative that Parliament retains its legislative power with regard titles, line of succession etc. It protects the monarch from accusations of spite or treachery. Charles isn't vindictive, but if we had a monarch hell bent on using their powers against the family, we could see individuals bumped for no particular reason. The monarchy must act within the constitution without the power to tinker with it. However, the late Queen dud lobby for a change in the Act of Succession, so that females were no longer bumped in the line by younger male children. Parliament took the opportunity to update certain aspects too,I that an individual in the LoS can now marry a Catholic and not lose their position and status. And the first individuals in the LoS don't lose their status if the monarch refuses to give permission to marry. So Harry could have married MM even if the Queen said no. Parliament also looked at modern advances in fertility and surrogacy, but after much debate it was agreed that the protocol "born of the body" remain unchanged.

They already received security whenever they visit the UK as long as they give 28 days notice. But Harry objects to that, yet can announce they are going to a dangerous place like Columbia, supposedly with the Invisible kids, three months in advance! Will the trip to Columbia include a kidnapping attempt on the kids, just to hammer home how much they need that security? They’ve tried an 80mph near catastrophic car chase trying to elude the paparazzi in grid-locked New York! Harry and the Mrs desperately want that higher bracket of security so they can then apply to have their IPP status reinstated. So it wouldn’t surprise me!

But then that would just show they would need security in those towns/cities/counties. Just because it is unsafe in one area, does not equate to everywhere else in the world. If they want to prove any security issues in the UK, they need to have a kidnapping attack there. But still, that would mean it was unsafe to all residents there. Needy and Greedy are not working royals, and although in the line of succession, he is so far down, his demise would not affect the workings of the monarchy.

Let's face it -- it's all over but the crying for Loser and User. The CBS interview proved that. Their body language towards each other was SO telling. They are NOT in love. They DO NOT even like each other anymore. Karma is beginning the beating that will bring them down and they cannot get away from it. Loser will "land on his feet", so to speak, because the RF will help him. They WILL NOT take him back as a working royal, but they will tuck him away some place and make sure he 1) has a place to live and has the basic necessities of life 2) gets help with is mental issues. Getting help has not worked yet but who knows -- maybe if they can get him off of drugs AND mental help MAYBE he can become a functioning adult. User is done for, and she knows it. That is why she is clawing and scraping and doing everything possible -- even when it keeps showing her in such a bad light. She has been this way her whole life, she just didn't have a world stage to do it on. She is throwing everything at the wall and hoping that something will stick. Her REAL past - including the fact that Loser is her 3rd husband and that she has a daughter that she "sold" to the father AND two grandchildren - is slowly coming out. The wh*re that she was (and, IMO, still is) is going to be shown to the world. Then there is the fact that they really do not have any children. They are over. She will be in a padded room in a jacket with no arms by the time ALL of the facts come out and the dust settles, as she should be. Again, it's all over but the crying!!!!

To clarify Harry wants full time security supplied by the UK and IPP status. When you’re IPP you get free security from wherever you are but Harry’s asking for more. He wants personal taxpayer funded security detail supplied by the UK. Meaning that even when living in the US he’d have to have his personal security supplied by the UK with additional forces supplied by the US, both countries pay. It’s just like when he first went to Canada and UK teams were flown out regularly plus additional support supplied by Canada. There has to be continuity in his security so he’d have to be supplied with a regular set of UK officers everywhere he goes. The IPP level of security, meaning those freely supplied by wherever Harry is don’t travel across boarders. So he needs a traveling force supplied by his country and a local force supplied by wherever he’s visiting or living. The expense will be astronomical. Not only that but think of the UK team who’d have to be living away from their families just because Harry chose to move away.

I don't think he realises that if RAVEC approve his security, he'd have to adhere to any decisions about where it's safe to travel to. If they decide Colombia is no go, then he couldn't travel there. He can't have it both ways. And he certainly can't put other people's lives at risk by dragging them into risky situations unnecessarily.

IPP status means that taxpayers in whatever country they are in pays for their security so if they are in the USA American taxpayers will be paying not the UK

Who coordinates his security when he travels? What if he goes to a country that doesn’t provide security? Why did the UK have to send teams to Canada when Harry was still IPP? Also, why do other foreign national IPPs have their own team from their country as well as a US team when in the US and same for UK? I’ll take your word for it that you’re more family with this policy but it makes no sense and I’ve never seen it just done from one side like that in either the US or UK.
