Idk, could you imagine pitching the idea of an air bag over the whole landing to any 2000s fmx rider. They would love the idea but it would be the same as landing upright in a foam pit in their eyes. Wouldn’t count as landed

@@Jake_Hamlin 2000s riders weren’t doing massive life or death tricks to standard dirt first either look at pastranas first double flip he was going to a cloud of sand and I’m sure he would’ve loved the airbag landings back then so he didn’t have to build those fluff landings. This was the first time Harry and jayo hit that ramp to ANY landing. Airbag or not they progressed the sport and that’s all fmx is about. it won’t be long until triple is stomped to “dirt” off that ramp now that they know it’s possible to ride out of it.

@@sexatica No margin for error on dirt. The airbag, you can land in several different positions and stay on the bike easier. Dirt tends to violently spit you off the bike. Think about it dude.
