Circle intro 2:26:53 34.) CIRCLE 2:27:37 I labeled this (and time stamped it) the way I labeled my original CDs of this show, a long time ago. This version of Halfway To Heaven still knocks me out, it's just so damn good (and it rings more true all the time!). And W*O*L*D* is always fun to sing along with. The inclusion here of some rarities; with the plaintive cries of Halfway To Heaven and the driving beat of Dogtown make this a really rollicking, thoughtful & rocking concert. Brother Steve, as usual, sounds in excellent form singing and tinkling the ivories. Old friends mean much more to me, indeed. By the time we start pushing on through those shortening miles of the concert, we wind down through the depot of our joy and we sing...Of BANANAS!!!) and sing it with balls (that's a technical term used in the music industry, usually in reference to anything but the Osmonds). We may chant "Harry, it sucks!" but we live for every note cause these songs keep it all going. And while Harry's voice may falter just a little towards the end of the show, his enthusiasm and the reciprocal energy of the crowd never does. Not counting a few of the quiet and not quite liberated ladies in this audience. Big John and Harry banter along the friendly edge of a sword and we all laugh with appreciation of the camaraderie and wit of these entertainers. The band swells and they sell as they reach a final crescendo and we all close the circle once more. It sure sounds like everyone had a great time that night. I sure do, every time I go back there.

Thank you for recording this and saving it so we can listen to it now. I still remember exactly where I was when I heard my first Chapin song and who I was with. That was over 50 years ago!!!! I loved it then and still do now!

This is a great show, one of my favorites. I've had a copy of this, obtained from Howie Fields two decades ago, and have enjoyed it since then. The quality is great for a bootleg radio broadcast and Harry and the guys sound awesome. Thanks for posting it here, hopefully it gets plenty of plays
